Ive downloaded some books in doc files, then had a friend to make them pdf with an adobe thing and the result was great
I dont read mangas, though there are expensive otside japan, so maybe the manga scans are a good option.
personally I like normal books, they make a nice display and "stay"

I prefer downloading them because the latest version comes out in digital format first. Also, I don't really enjoy having a manga in English translation, seeing most of my latest singles and albums are Japanese version. If I wanna buy the manga, I'll buy the Japanese version. Of coures, I can't read them yet, but I hope I can someday.
I'm not a manga freak so I won't spend too much money on them when you can find them online (yeah, I'm evil). Even if I can't find them online, I won't buy them anyway. Right now J-Pop is my priority so all my money will goes to buying albums and singles that I love. |

| I usually buy manga. Or try to buy manga when I can and have enough money. JPop is definitely my priority though. I only download scanlations or Japanese version mangas, but I buy a manga if it's available in the US. |

| I've downloaded only a few manga scans so far when I wanted to read a manga which isn't released here. But I usually buy them, too. |

i buy comic magazine since i was 12 til now, for the past 8 years. Last time one book was RM3.00 in malaysia, now RM3.50, less than US$1.00... somehow it doesnt cost me too much. I think DL it from my 56k dial up is not worthy... my area still doesnt have broadband and i'm very upset with it...
I prefer to read the book instead of reading it in front of a monitor, yes u r right evilxkakashi...
i read naruto, death note, eye shield 21, full metal alchemist, conan, get backers, air gear... waiting for REAL 5th book to come out...
overall most ppl prefer to buy the book right? good... |

yes, i know that comic mag is the cheapest, among all those in the market, and maybe among the world, . Average 17 chapters per issue. I bought since 300th something until now the 756 issue... imagine that, more than RM1000... . But of coz still lower than urs evilxkakasi... but nowdays i spent most of my $ for CDs... gonna collect $ to buy Ai's 3rd album then... |

I prefer buying the book version, but I have and do download scans sometimes. (Especially translated ones.) I just don't always have the money to spend on things like that. |

Buy.
I never borrow them or so because it takes me AGES to read books or mangas *g*
The only time I downloaded scanlets were with NANA because they aren't released here (well only up to 5). But I don't have the feeling of reading a book if I do it at the computer o_O If I read, I must sit somewhere, where it is confortable, like in my bed or at my couch |
