here's some info about it. Credit to pspudates
Initial Street Stage - Test Play Photos
Just in time for the Japanese release of the Initial D movie, Sega has a PSP version of its hit arcade racer Initial D Arcade Stage. Initial D Street Stage will be based off Version 3 of the arcade game, giving it some gameplay bonuses over Sega's successful PS2 version. Street Stage has all the characters, cars and tracks from Version 3 of the arcade game, and then some. In addition to wireless ad-hoc play, the game will include a new card element. Following each battle, you earn a card. Cards come in three flavors: rival, battle and tuning. The rival and battle cards are just for show, giving details, respectively, on the characters and classic battles from the series. The tuning cards, however, contribute to gameplay, as you can combine these to customize your car. In all, Street Stage will feature over 200 cards to collect.
Here are some photos of someone playing the game:
anyone know much about the new initial d movie? i heard there was a live action movie somewhere. Is this it? |

| yeah i have 2 cards. But one time i played ridge racer for a long time and then i tried to start playing Initial D and i couldn't even beat that first guy iggy. initial D is pretty realistic but i think PGR is the most realistic Drifting game out. |

Serious, i hope my friend gets it, so i can play it when he doesnt get to. Im a newbie now in Initial d arcade, the cornering is wide and everyone overtakes .
Anyone played maximum tune in arcades? i wish initial d will have that sort of controls...makes it a bit easier i reckon |

| Yeah it kinda takes awhile to get use to Initial D. But it's pretty realistic. The trick i think is to downshift when you turn if you're using manual. But for automatic you'd need to let go of the gas then while you're turning then put the petal to the metal. =b But there's different styles in drifting, like grip and the one i mentioned. There's probably more but iunno them that well. |
