i'm listening to houkiboshi right now, and i really like it!
but why does it have to be a .rar file?!
i still can't get those to work on my computer! can you upload houkiboshi in mp3 or wma format? or pretty much anything but .rar?
i'm incomplete without it, thanks to you guys!
I uploaded the album version of Houkiboshi in mp3 format.
The post is above Mansley's.
You should download WinRAR. |

well she's got some fans, but considering many other artists have surpassed her and her sales lately have been crap, i don't think she's a very big name. i mentioned her name to my TA for my japanese class, who is japanese. his response was dare? (japanese for who?
*sigh* the public is fickle. i will never understand why the japanese can't accept her. i thought maybe they don't like her because she is korean so they sort of shun her...but boa is well accepted in japan. i don't know. their loss. and also poor younha's loss in sales.
well...sony has been pretty poor at helping to promote her, or else younha's been very lazy with televised lives. i've got a total of maybe 15 lives from younha, considering how many releases she has that is pretty awful. (of course there are more, but considering how psycho a stalker i am, this is probably representative of all that is out on the internet, which tells you she probably hasn't done many lives. contrast this with ai, of whom i probably have a good thirty or forty lives and i don't think that's even half her lives...) so i don't think she gets publicized much.
also her PVs are usually out pretty late, like a week or two before the actual release. i think this isn't enough airtime to get it out.
did anyone pay attention to the links at the bottom of my post? kyyaaaa my home forum is there! wooo! CRAPSHOOT! well it's actually pretty dead right now so you join you'll just see a bunch of whackos making death note references. (which is all that's been happening there lately)
oh and i'm glad you got winrar...uploading all them in separate mp3s...would've been quite annoying. but i would've done it, for younha's sake. she must be heard! |

| Ai and Mansley, I think she is recording Korean music too, maybe she is using her time both groups and so we perceive less from her. |

My girlfriend is Korean and I asked her about this.
She said that she only knows of Younha's Japanese songs and doesn't think that she records anything in Korean..
I can't be sure though.
I think that Mansley has put up her entire back catalogue though. |

yep i posted her entire discography, minus album which davedim has done. the last three individual mp3s are bonus too! everything so far has been released in japan although there are four songs done in korean amongst them. HOWEVER...there was a korean version of her first album relesed in korea early last month. (not...sung in korean, just the packaging and everything was for korea)
furthermore in a korean television interview early this month there appeared to be some hint of a korean single in the works...and since this was a korean tv station i can only suspect that this would be released in korea. (i don't understand korean, but i had a korean friend talking to me about it. he also said on her diary she wrote a hint about it too in korean...the same one phrase appeared in both the interview and the diary)
lastly in late july this year there was a five part documentary about her music that aired in korea. it seems her popularity in korea has risen greatly since then, so a korean release would seem plausible. (and i am hopeful, because i've liked every korean version song better than its japanese equivalent so far...)
oh and also about spending time in korea, younha does indeed appear to travel back and forth between korea and japan. i don't know about what she does in korea. besides some tv appearances and photos appearing on korean news sites, i don't see anything in terms of music coming out of korea.
PS her first one man live show was yesterday. i was pretty bummed i am not in japan and therefore couldn't see it. but it must've been an amazing moment. |

Would there have been a recording of her live show?
And where could I get it?
I mean, if anyone would know, it would be you. |

wayyy too soon for me to know that though. i've seen photos of the t-shit that was sold at the live event and she made a diary entry afterward on her site but otherwise i am pretty sure we need to wait some time before other news of the live will surface. (it's only been half a day since the live...most people in japan are probably sleeping right now)
i'm a little skeptical it'll be released on a DVD. younha's not really that big an artist yet for that to be the case, plus someone said the show was only a half hour long. (i can't confirm this) but i'm all ears for your's or anyone's younha related requests. see my posts for a few good younha sites. |
