I heard "Otsuka Ai" is going to be the next queen of J-Pop so I got interested in who she was.

Sakuranbo, my first Ai song and still my favorite! Kingyo Hanabi is the first PV I saw and I liked her even more after that.

I first heard about her when people in AHS forum is talking about who will replace ayu in the future. Ai Otsuka turns out to be one of the most likely candidate for the jpop queen title, so that's how her name start to get inside my head.

I heard about her earlier but I started to like her at 25 January 2005 (after checking my IM history), after a1strank uploaded Kingyo Hanabi to my personal server. Kingyo Hanabi blows me away, I keep playing that song for quite a while.

I tried to find her older singles with limited booklet without success. I currently own LOVE JAM with booklet, the photobook, Sakuranbo -encore press-, Kingyo Hanabi CD+DVD, and I ordered Daisukidayo single, SMILY/Bidama single and LOVE PUNCH CD+DVD not long ago, cost me 56 US dollar after using the 5 dollar coupon.  |

I was at songjapan.com and I saw an add for "new artist" (or something like that). I clicked and listened to Sakuranbo. I think at first I didn't like her music too much,(because I was stupid and listened to it at work where I couldn't turn up the volume). I kept listening to her, though, and now me loves Aichan!  I hooked both my cousin on Aichan, too.

The first song I heard was Sakuranbo, but the first song that made me like her was "Momonohanabira". I love all her songs now, though. (i keep staring at this little guy )

I bought Love Punch and Love Jam + DVD (had to have that short video!) I haven't got a single yet, but I might since not all the b-sides go on her albums. I'd love to buy more merch, but, like most, I can't. I do the next best thing, though, I clip up her cd booklets and decorate my room with the pictures. *wonders how many people she horrified with that statement* |

a friend of mine went back to japan to visit her dad, then came back and told me that there was a song that she totally loved (she's in NY btw). so she sent me the song, i listened to it, and immediately fell in love with her ^^
when do u guys get to know ai?
somewhere in january this year, thats when she told me about otsuka ai

| LOL! i got to know Ai by seeing her nicely-nice first album picture! It's really colorful, and that's why it attracted my attention at first. But, I did not really like her at first as I thought that her theme was basically "acting cute". But after listening to her songs, I really got to appreciate another side of her as I heard songs like "kingyo hanabi". I like Ai lots! Daisukidayo! |

I saw her love punch cm on tv but i didn't really bother much as the songs didn't catch my attention and i totally ignored it. How stupid of me!  But after some time i saw her daisukidayo pv and the "anata koishikute" jus got stuck in my head and i started getting interested in her music.

Song has got to be daisukidayo. But for PV its kuroge wagyuu. The title is just so interesting and my height used to be 168cm so 680yen is like.. haha! I tink too much.. I show every single one of my frens and force them to come to my house just to see the pv.

i saw her 1st album in TV "Love Punch" featuring Sakuranbo! she has a really pleasantly sweetly cute voice, and i became her biggest fan from then on!
