| Yep, if you've looked around a bit more here, you would have found out that she is holding a LOVE [99] COOK Tour which starts on April 1st. There are 10 dates so far from memory. |

Sorry for double posting, but I really wanted to bump this up.
I have recieved intelligence from another person who has recieved intelligence [not from wiki, I updated it] that after 14 weeks of charting, LOVE COOK has sold 783,308 copies sold. Which means we are less than 17k away from 800k!!! And the tour has yet to start!!
Another very very interesting thing I would like to point out, is that so far, for the Oricon 2006 year [defined from 01/12/05 - 31/11/06], LOVE COOK is the second highest selling studio album, and 6th overall on highest-selling albums so far. A third of the Oricon year has passed, with a bit of luck, Otsuka Ai can sneak into top 5 studio albums of 2006.
Highest Selling Albums

| I don't really know how much the tour actually helps. Ayumi's tour has started and it didn't really help the sales except by slowing the sale decline a little. Anyhow I doubt she can beat Ayu's (miss) understood right now, but it's quite an achievement to rank so high and I'm glad for Ai because she is certainly competing with a lot of big names. |

That's true, because the album has been selling for a while now. Most of the people who wants to get it mighthave gotten it by now. But the tour should help a little, since its another form of promotion. ai-chan is doing well with this album and I'm happy for her! |

Hm... true.... Either way, I really think the 800k mark is highly possible. It's only less than 17k away... I seriously think it will eventually sell 800k. Who knows, Frienger might even help!
For Ayumi's case, the tour hasn't helped much... and Ayu's fans target of 900k is almost an impossibility since sales are now sitting at 853k or so... |
