Exactly when was the '3rd week'? Because the charts didn't update last week....
It's awesome to see LOVE COOK already exceeding her previous two albums in sales! She should be very happy and proud of herself!
653k for (miss)understood is extremely solid. If I remember correctly, MY STORY was around 550k in its first week. I already ordered a copy for (miss)understood for my sister. 
I hope and hope and hope that she DOES NOT release a BEST album.... She has 11 singles!! Much too premature!!! Furthermore, I'd much rather her release a BEST album when she has racked up at least 20 singles.... as long as it is too much to fit on one CD.... so that it has to be split into two CD's.... I think it attracts buyers more! Also, we'll get more and more PV's on the one DVD. *drool* I really hope her BEST album reaches multi-million selling status. |

I would want ai-chan to release at least 2 to 3 more singles before actually thinking of releasing a best album. I say around 15 singles would do good for a best album, along with a DVD that has all her PVs (that would be perfect). seems like avex loves singles complilation with a DVD full of PVs.
really happy for ai-chan regarding LOVE COOK as her best selling album so far, keep it up~ And thanks for the info. |

The 4th week sales has been released, the sales figures for all artist seems to be quite low, I'm thinking this might be a short week for the Oricon chart. Anyway, here's a summary of the sales of LOVE COOK so far:
1st week sales: 334,812
2nd week sales: 167,321
3rd week sales: 167,318
4th week sales: 39,821
LOVE COOK total sales so far: 709,272
I'm thinking it will probably be hard for Ai-chin to pass the 1 million mark, but I'm quite sure the sales of LOVE COOK can pass the 800k in 1 or 2 more weeks. LOVE COOK is doing pretty well, I bet Ai-chin must be a pretty wealthy right now lol.  The richest cute girl in Japan, Ai Otsuka!

thanx eyn for the information i hope LOVE COOK can break the 800k in 1 / 2 more weeks  and the sales is looking good LOVE COOK is really a very good album in my opinion  |

| eyn, are these sale numbers for japan copies? if that's the case, i think it's possible that LOVE COOK has already reached the 1 mil point with japan + over sea sale numbers. |

These sales figures are Japanese version only....
I find it terrible that sales took a ~75% decline... but the more I think about it, the more I think 'week 3' was actually two weeks since I sincerely remember the 'weekly' charts not updating for two weeks while the daily charts did.
Anyhow, I knew Otsuka Ai would not pass that million mark, but there are many many opportunites in the future! |

1st week sales: 334,812
2nd week sales: 167,321
3rd week sales: 167,318
4th week sales: 39,821
5th week sales: 22.904
LOVE COOK total sales so far: 732,176
Hm.... sales seem to be diminishing as the weeks go by... If it can hang around in the top 15 for a few more weeks, I'm sure the tour will boost the sales somewhat... 800k barrier still remains a possibility! |

ooh, LOVE COOK dropped out of Oricon's top 20 today. So many new albums out this week, hopefully LOVE COOK will climb back up next week...or even tomorrow.  |

I've been waiting for this news to arrive  .
The album was really good. I had a hunch it'll go to #1.
Ai's doing so good in the sales tho! Even though they're slowly decreasing, but I believe it will climb back up again .
