Well, it did climb back up to number 20 this morning. Happy, happy, happy. Yes, I agree, it should slowly increase back to a good place. |

ok, back to the topic. LOVE COOK answered our wish and climbed back up to number 16 this morning. I guess a good album will not be scared by other competitors! |

Sorry I wasn't being specific on that. I usually check the daily oricon chart, that's what I do every day. I'll be specific the next time. |

I never check the daily... I find they are inaccurate.... or hard to deduce how well an album is really doing....
Sales for already released albums always take a sharp drop in rankings when those hordes of new albums are released. It's only after a few days that things start to steady. |

LOVE COOK is currently at Oricon weekly chart number 12, with 15870 copies sold this week. Seems like the sales of LOVE COOK is declining swiftly, which makes it hard for Ai-chin to pass the 800,000 copies milestone.
1st week sales: 334,812
2nd week sales: 167,321
3rd week sales: 167,318
4th week sales: 39,821
5th week sales: 22.904
6th week sales: 15,870
LOVE COOK total sales so far: 748,046
I'm thinking LOVE COOK will eventually pass the 800,000 milestone, but by that time it will probably no longer stay on the top 20, which make it hard to trace the sales. Anyway, she still did really well for her third album, and her popularity is growing steadily, we'll see when her next single comes out in April. |

| Thanks for the update. I do agree it did pretty well and I do believe it will eventually get 800,000 copies sold. |

Thanks for the update. I'm less convinced she will hit the 800k mark, but still believe she has a great chance. The tour should boost the sales somewhat...
Four months is such a long wait for any new material!! And for arguments sake, it will be 7 months inbetween release of PLANETARIUM and the new single. |

i have 50:50 thought of it will hit the target of 800,000 milestone and not hit it to be honest |

i hope her april japan-wide concerts can help to boost the sales of her albums and singles. but i think that passing the 800,000 mark is a realistic target, very high possibility of reaching the goal |

7th week sales are in for LOVE COOK!
1st week sales: 334,812
2nd week sales: 167,321
3rd week sales: 167,318
4th week sales: 39,821
5th week sales: 22.904
6th week sales: 15,870
7th week sales: 10,689
LOVE COOK total sales so far: 758,735
She is edging closer and closer towards that 800k mark. =D
Also, after charting in the Oricon Weekly Top 30 for TWENTY consecutive weeks, PLANETARIUM has finally been booted off the Top 30 this week, with sales exceeding 300k! Exact sales figure is unknown to me, but it just passed the 300k mark.
Congradulations to Otsuka Ai for a wonderful follow-up performance on the charts after SMILY. |
