To be honest, I'm more into J-Rock than into J-Pop
ai-chin is something really special, most of my friends look at me like this -> <- when they get to know that I'm listening to her.
At the moment I love Bergerac, COOKY, D, Dollis Marry, Duel Jewel, Gazette, Irokui., Karen, LuLu, Metis Gretel, PABLO HONEY and Soroban, but my all-time favourites are MUCC, Gazette, Bergerac, anything KIRITO-related and Dollis Marry.
Recently I started to listen to Ayabie as well, because Yumehito joined them and they will play a show here As a Soroban fan I should go and see him. |

Even though this thread is abit dead, I just want to put in my interests as well!
Well I don't have much, but my main favourite is definitely AKFG. I can't get over the 2nd Naruto opening, it's still so awesome! |

No one is mentioning any japanese punk or ska bands. They deserve a nod too:
Chainsaw
Forward
Paintbox

D.O.N.D.O.N.
Beyond Description
Colored Ricemen
Age
Asbestos
Warhead
D.S.B

Japanese punk rock is absolutely AMAZING!!!! |

^ I don't like j-rock much myself, but that's maybe because I don't usually go for anything besides pop/ballads?
I think X-Japan were very talented musicians. Longing, Endless Rain, Forever Rain are my faves.
hmm, these tracks are not really rock, are they?
I'll check out some of the favourites you guys (and ladies) have listed up in earlier posts.
Should be fun...

Ayabie
Distraught Overlord Dio
Screw
Homura
-OZ-
Zoro
12012
Danger Gang
HYBRID-ZOMBIEZ
Exist Trace

Alice Nine.
MUCC
etc etc
I've seen An Cafe, Girugames, Bis and guitar wolf live at the J-Shock event.
Giru was awesome. They rock so much live |
