| In Japankore, they gave you a choice of having different layouts. Each person could pick which one they wanted in their profile. That was kinda cool. Iunno just a suggestion. |

I hope we're not trying to look "exactly" like what other forum is doing here. Why not we set our standard and be who we are?  The profile thing doesn't really make a difference in my opinion, and here at Channel-Ai we are not a web portal or some sort of exhibition but a forum, when people look at your profile, they don't really care how it looks like, they just want to get information about you.
Techinically, personalized profile is not possible in phpbb. You can choose which forum skin you want to use, that's about it. The idea of personalized profile page is such that you can use it as a homepage or something when people ask whether you have one, but not in a forum when people have to actually register to see what's going on.
Thanks for the suggestion, I need more stuff like that to keep new things coming.  |

haha i meant change the fourm skin. I just thought i'd be cool to have a selection of then. That's what i meant, i didn't know what to call it. All i knew was you changed it through the profile page.  sorry. =v |

| There's 2 skin available on this forum, one is NoseBleed (white) the other one is AdInfinitum (black). I've plan to add more skin before but it's a pain when you have so many mod installed, and also there's not much good skins around that interest me. |

how do i choose a skin? i thought it would be in my profile area, but when i click on profile after i have signed in, i get the forum index.
what i want to do is switch off the signature area of posts. some are .5 -> 1Mb in size! my internet connection is dialup, so it can take me 20 minutes for a page to load. it makes this forum unworkable for me. eg. user sian, with an .86Mb animated gif. |

Sorry for the trouble, I fixed the problem already. I was modifying some of the php script to prevent spam bot from registering and I kinda missed the profile problem. 
And pon pon, I don't think there's an option in phpbb control panel that allows you to remove signature of other users. I'm sorry, if bandwidth is really a problem you can try browsing as a guest (it won't display any avatar and sig) and log in only if you decided to post. I can also add rules about signature filesize if you think this may help to make life easier for dial-up users like you. |

hmmm not sure about taking away sig when peopel are not sign in.... i tend to look at people sig alot ^_^ so i love it !!
kinda sorry to hear about slow loading =( .. to me i dont really think 0.8mb is really that big |

Well there has to be some kind of gap between those who are signed in and those who are not, right?
Those who are just visiting as guests don't have to worry about loading all of the signatures and flashy stuff, at least that's how I see it, and it seems convenient.
I understand the suffering involved with dial-up internet connection... It literally takes 20 minutes for a page to load, and the smallest things would become major problems. This includes things as small as sigs and text.
Then before you know it, the internet dies (at least that's how my experience was). 
I noticed a new feature called "Stats," and it's interesting to look at once in a while.
I was talking to people in the Chat Room about it, and it would seem that they couldn't see it. We concluded that you were adding it to each layout one at a time since all of us were using a different layout. |
