i am usually browsing this forum as guest:eyn wrote: ... if bandwidth is really a problem you can try browsing as a guest (it won't display any avatar and sig) and log in only if you decided to post. ... and one thing i notice is there is no navigation in the default (guest) layout. for example, i search for "Request Thread" and find 3 entries, all labelled:
Sticky: Request Thread
so i go to each one and - i have no idea where i am. it could be a korean pv request thread for all i know. there is no way of navigating to find out, and there is no path displaying where you are. if people are browsing the forum to see if they are interested in joining, then i think this limitation would be a big turn-off.
can navigation and thread paths be easily added to the guest layout? |

Thanks for the feedback, I added the forum name into the heading when viewing a topic, tell me if that works for you and if there's any more problem you're experiencing with the Yumekui theme. |

but now i realise the little back-arrow next to the thread name was a link, and lets me navigate!

Don't worry about it pon pon, some of the newer theme here are indeed weirder than those conventional ones, which in my opinion isn't all that bad once you get used to it. Some people like changes while some don't, I guess I'm the former type of people.
It's a pity that you have dial-up bandwidth problem, or you could have used NoseBleed as your default forum theme which makes thing clearer and more intuitive. The good thing about Yumekui theme is the "search within topic" feature though, it gives you extra "author" field that I've yet to add to other themes. You can find the search within topic button on the top right corner.
Lastly, every suggestion makes things better, so thank you for telling me your opinion. |

If you don't mind, there's something I'd like to bring up regarding the "Log in" page.
Perhaps it's just my lack of understanding, but the "Log me on automatically each visit" function doesn't work properly for me. I check the box and log in, but when I return to that page, it's always unchecked again. I personally would rather log in typing the information everytime I go on, but I was just curious about this feature.
This looks like me, doesn't it? ---> |

| ^ Oddly enough I've been having this similar problem but it only occurs from time to time. |
