Mine had completed this morning, which i woked up very early to check.
I watched it once, i was pretty shocked that they didn't include Superstar!
There were some clips of them while reharlsing for the concert and they were all so serious and professional.
Just for the last verse of Superstar, "Watashi no Superstar"
they had to discuss for quite some time and of cause practise to make it sound perfect.
And i was looking forward to the performance, but it wasn't there!!
Sorry, there's no kyogenshou as well.
and no dancestep for koi wa moboroshi as well.
But don't feel sad, the concert was really cool, especially blackout.. the whole thing became black and white.
Kinda like those past tvs which shows no colors.
Yume no ato is awesome as well, as you can see how much emotions she put into the song while singing it. I really love it!
Hata makes me so happy, as he is drumming with a smile constantly stuck on his face.. did i mention how sexy he is? "HEY BABE!"  |

Wheeh! So..finally i can drop some lines here about the virgin line tour
too. Dl has ended for me. First impressions, not bad at all i loved it!
well mayby not that much lolz, but this concert was way more better then Dynamite out! (imo). This mayby lacked the songs i was expecting they to perfom but shure they showed how good they can fit as a group together.
When they perfomed blackout that was nice as runawayschi said,
The whole black & white idea thumbs up 4 shure. Child choir this concert was all about having fun thats my vision.
Hata did an awesome job. well as the whole group did i might say.
clothes they weared for this concert were better ones imo, more adult styled then
on the dynamite out tour. Specially Shiina looked hot or sexy named what and the cat ears aww so nice idea. And i give honour also for the idea that Shiina singed with megafone/or what ever that is called not meny do that and heck it even sounded good. Fitted in the song. Yume no ato it turned to my favorite perfomance from this show...  no im not crying becouse i would be sad no. Im letting a tear shed becouse as runawayschi said.
Shiina gived everything that her voice can give she putted all the emotions in this song!
overall not a waste of Hd im waiting this for a dvd release.
and even more im waiting domestic tour line! i bet they gived even more in there
Sorry about my long writings. but anyway i thought there had to be superstar mayby this was edited version becouse that guy in Tokyo incidents site said they perfomed it  Do i remember wrong can someone correct me if im wrong please runawayschi? anyone? it shure was not there but the site said  |

I think there IS Superstar in the setlist, just that to fit the whole concert into a tv programme without editting parts of the concert would be impossible. 
Not forgetting that they did have those slight cuts where the band members are talking.
But doesn't that just makes you want to hear the live version of Superstar even more?
From the practise that was shown in the Domestic Virgin Line, it sounded to me alot more harder and rock-ier than the one performed in Dynamite Out and from the album version.
I really excited and would definitely want to hear it on the Domestic "Just can't help it" tour. 
Hopefully it would be recorded into a dvd as well..

that it sounded better then on dynamite out!
way way lot better. This was what i was actually waiting for
I also liked the harder and rock-ier sound that they played on practise as you mentioned.
So i hope also and im eager to see they what it sounds when they
perfom in it Domestic "Just can't help it" tour and the dvd release for both
concert *drawls* ^__^
awwww i cant wait i hope they release those soon if they do!
Then they can *rip* our money from us lolz like that luggage 55000 yen! gosh. |

man, i'm in a crisis, the file is making my computer lag.. No~~
therefore i have to delete it as i have no burner.
But every single thing that happend in it is stored and will remain in my brain forever!
so much for wanting to get my friends over to experiencing the magic of a tokyo jihen live with me.
*prays hard that the dvd will be released*
The 55 000yen luaggage, wow, i don't think for a fan like me who doesn't have a stable job could possibly afford it.
But the perfume is a different case i want it ever so much!!! |

But I bet they are gonna release a dvd from both of those concerts/tours
they have to!
awww i had to point this out that guy Tokyo Incdidents damn guy is lucky one.
Once again he went to those DOMESTIC! Just Can't Help tours
and the review in his site damn that sounds a good concert also! duuh i wish i was him. just imagine jam packed arena Shiina ringo & tokyo Jihen Okay i tripping gomen ne. yeap, i have no also money that much to buy that expencive luaggage but the perfum i need it! and then the neckglace /t-shirt uum all of them.  anyone know btw what Shiina's brother Shiina Junpei is doing rightknow?
it just popped to my mind somehow... i werent even thinking him. |

Don't really know much about Shiina Junpei.
The only thing which i know about him is that he did a song, Tamanegi no Happy song with shiina ringo. Love his vocals, and his english sounded unlike other japanese singer.
He's english sounded perfect! A wonderful song if i may say, cheerful and upbeat.
Don't the guy at the site can help overseas fans purchase the concert merch?
If that is so, i would really love to ask him to get for me the perfumes, of cos paying him.
Maybe you can get the concert merch. you wanted through him?
But don't really know whether my parents will allow me to or not.  |

yeah,
in that one topic he posted in his site, he said he can help people buy the merchenidice.
Awwww i love that song also, Shiina junpei can sing as well..
now im listenning jusui negai & genjitsu wo warau damn i love these songs.
About the merch then well i dont know will my parents let me do the same
and if they would let me i dont still know, i mean the guy lives oversea and
i live far away from him. you live in Singapore so you are closer where he is living then me.

While looking through Yahoo! Japan auctions i came across this wonderful picture.
sexy if i might add.. its probably from the tour brochure..
oh man, now i want to get it even more!
there are tickets of the Domestic! Just can't help it tour up for bidding in the auction as well... but alot or almost all of them do not shipped overseas.
What a waste..
I think the shipping is the same for all the country, that's what he/she stated.
But of cos, if its for the luagage it will cost more due to the size/weight. |

Major new's updatel!
Asai Kenichi (leader of the bands BLANKEY JET CITY & Sherbets and one of Ringo's idols) will be releasing his first solo single, 危険すぎる ("Kiken Sugiru") The release date is July 12th, and Ringo will be singing the chorus on the title track! Other famous musicians will be joining him too; Terui Toshiyuki (of BLANKEY JET CITY) will be playing the bass, and Motegi Kinichi (of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra & Fishermans) will play the drums.
Also, Tokyo Jihen will perform in Hibiya Fields Concert hall,
together with two other bands.
Hibiya Fields Concert hall is located in Marunouchi, in one of the hottest business town in Japan.
Heres some info about the perfomance:

BLANKEY JET CITY is well respected japanese band from the 1990! and they are still kicking. Band is almost a cult to some fans not to me though but they still well known. I cant wait this must be something for the ages i feel it.

 But anyways, once again there is a new news flash to the public
but this one is really sad, Tokyo Jihen's member the drummer Hata Toshiki has been injured, with the most accurate prosent hata will not be playing on SOCIETY OF THE CITIZENS event at the Hibiya Fields 07.02. HATA has stated and lefted a message to all the fans that he has broken a bone *there were NO specific information, what bone it was but he said, that he will be back and there is no worry's that he would leave the band.

to the owner [Brad] that has translated the message to us:

I’m sure it will be a great show and of course a great event. “Well, now that he’s out for a little while, I bet he leaves the band.” I’m sure some people are thinking this right now, but, again, I’m sorry, but I definitely will be back. Once I’m better, I’ll be back and as lively as ever. Even if they tell me I can’t.
Society of the Citizens Vol. 1 in Hibiya Yaon was helded yesterday.
The substitute drummer, was Sano Yasuo more can be found at TokyoIncidents Blog.

omg, what a terrible accident.
poor hata, i hope that he will have a speedy recovery.
he seems to be the most lively and active member in the grp.
i wished to see Hata performed live!
or should i say the complete Tokyo Jihen.

First of all the cover for the upcoming Tokyo Jihen's Domestic tour dvd
has been finally released
at Shiina Ringo's official site to the public:
Cover can been seen here. At Shiina Ringo's official web site kronekodow
Pricetag is setted to be around 4,200￥
and the dvd includes 22 songs perfomed live! At the famous NHK HALL.
Tracklisting & Anything else you need to know about the dvd can be found in the
link i provided. ^^^^^The release date is for the dvd 2006/09/06.
And those who wondered why i did not post the cover up in here is that, the cover
*MIGHT* be offensive to some
people/audiences truth to be told the cover is very heavily adult oriented if i might say. |

haha, i know why the cover can't be posted.
the cover sure does goes with the "Adult" theme.
to me i think that the dvd is worth every penny!
Getting to see how Tokyo Jihen perform every live is an experience!
as they seem to like to play around with the arrangement of their music.
and with the recent jazz influence with their music im excited to see what's instored for me.
especially the cover tracks which i had nv heard before!
Hoping for maybe a balanced between jazz and rock?
and of cos Tegami and Superstar is making me want it it even more!
too bad gunjo biyori isn't in it.
September is less then 2 months away!
and im totally obessed with Mellow right now... |
