But you know what runawayschi?,
if you wanna hear & see Tokyo Jihen's new cover song *Mirrorball*
MTV will air it as an exclusive video between August 14th and August 20th in MTV japan.
yes that's right, so if you just can see mtv japan in your country someway
i recommend to check it out. Also It will also be available as a mobile phone
movie in Japan from August 21st, and on the Internet from August 30th.
I can wait for the dvd release, and hearing these two new coversongs 2006/09/06. AInt far away

| I heard Shiina Ringo once. I had asked someone for female VISUAL KEI groups or soloists and they recommended me her but since her's wasn't visual style and at the time I didn't like normal rock I stopped listening to her. I don't know if it's been said but I thought she also changed her name because growing up she was a fan of Fiona Apple. |

^I don't think so,
she got her name, "Ringo" because when she was young she blushed like an apple when she was introducing herself.
Thus the name "Ringo".
She said that her music genre is Shinjuku kei.
Since's her music ranges from rock, jazz, blues and even traditional japanese music.
I'm also a visual kei fan, but her music is something you could not NOT have a taste of before you die.
kawai-no:
no...
i do not have MTV japan.
that's such a waste..
hoping that the dvd released earlier! |

^^^^^Well runawayschi i did not have a change to catch it either but somehow
now it has happened, tokyo jihen's new song mirror ball has aired on mtv japan.
and someone has uploaded it into youtube and im back with the link,
the video is from the live so actually its gonna be in the dvd and the song is quite catchy,
it has blues/jazz/rock touch in it. Great song and if i might say i love Shiina's outfit on this it has a little winter theme in it, anyway the dvd release is not far away! I think this live dvd is gonna be worth of every penny! here is MirrorBall |

I watched it, and i gotta say, its pretty different from what i expected from Tokyo Jihen.
Hata needs more screentime!
hahaha!
the pv for Blackout and Shoujo Robot is up at http://www.toshiba-emi.co.jp/vmc/issue/issue_75.htm
Is it me? Or does Shiina Ringo has a huge closet for this tour?
every costume she wears is different in each pv..
I like Blackout alot, especially her costume! |

This thread been dead for a longtime, so gotta pump it up a little bit.
So finally i *HAD* the time to watch my first press copy of Just cant help it!
dvd.
and hmmm, dont know what to really say overall impression for me was it' was good.
Mayby not so, uum electrofying one as dynamite out was but well they are meant to be enjoyed differently. IMO in this live some songs like marunouchi sadistic sounded way better then before, and just the whole theme/idea of blending theatherical ingredients
to a live show was wondefull. Hata specially looked like he was enjoying the whole show so did Shiina looked too, and all the other members too. So i can pretty sure say that personally i did not waist my money it was a good buy and the whole package looks nice! |

^^ hehe neither me, or any SR fan cant wait
just wanted to update the news considering the new release by shiina ringo.
Welcomes to you btw Firedaemon if i havent yet welcomed you. but anyways.
Tower Records has announced the tracklisting for
the upcoming Shiina Ringo's Kono Yo no Kagiri single.
01 Kono Yo no Kagiri (この世の限り) [The Limits of this World]
02 Sakuran (ONKYO ver.) (錯乱) [Disorder/Delirium/Chaos]
03 Karisome Otome (HITOKUCHIZAKA ver.) (カリソメ乙女) [DEATH JAZZ ver.]

Single features japanese violinist Neko Saito who has worked with SR before.
And also SR own dear brother Shiina Junpei,
is giving his deep voice to be heard in the single. And not forgetting SR him self. And also worth of mensioning
SR has completed about 20 tracks already for the upcoming movie Sakuran.
And is now probably at the studio working a new material for his upcoming solo album after 3 years of brake!
Oh, and if someone wants to get a sneakpreview.
from the movie and hear a new rendition of yume no ato
by shiina ringo, which is one of the songs in the movie.
click here i must say im quite addicted to the new version of yume no ato. |

Suprised that nobody's said anything about the new release, but I am in love with it. At first I thought it was good, but not amazing, but now I can't stop listening to Konoyo no Kagiri. It's such a fun and cute song.
I love Junpei's vocals too, he should work with Ringo-hime more, because they always make great music together.

I haven't heard it yet! I'm not sure why either. I need to fix that. For some reason I totally forgot about the single and was waiting for the album. |
