The whole weekend long I was away in Hannover.
Over there I wasn't able to get internet connections and that's why I couldn't post at channel Ai.
Now I have an idea. I think it will especially support the admins and the active members of Channel-Ai:
So what about opening up a "being away thread"? Advantages are:
- Active members can tell the others about being away. Imagine following:
Edvent opens up a new thread and eyn posts a question below it. Now Eyn waites for the answear.
BUT: For the next two weeks Edvent is on holidays! Now Eyn waits and waits but there's no answear coming.
Solution: Edvent posts in the "being away thread", "I'll be on holiday for the next two weeks". Now Eyn knows when Edvent's answear will be posted.
other advantages:
- The admins can better recognize leechers and inactive member accounts.
- The admins will not take aktive memebers (who are on holiday or something else) for "quitters" or something like that... Every member can announce their absence and so there will be no misunderstandings.
May this be a good idea?  |

that would be awesome feature!! i support this,
and im backing you Edvent on this one.
Soo... on another words im with you on this. It would truly help Admins (Eyn) and also
the active members of Channel-Ai. please eyn if this is possible make this happen.
then there wouldnt be no mistakes. like on the Voting of that karaoke contest.  |

Well, sure, I think it's not a bad idea to have a special thread dedicated to people who will be away and want other members to know that they won't be able to reply during that period. I'll start such a thread in the Chat Room forum, thanks for the suggestion.  |
