hahaha don't remember seeing Ai with such dangly earings before! i guess she has the opportunity to do that now with shorter hair!!
it was good to see her in motion again!

I'm watching the Gold Disk Awards right now... There's something I don't understand about Otsuka Ai's award. For Rock/Pop album of the year, they had a long list, and LOVE COOK was not on there. At the end of the listing, they singled out Otsuka Ai's album and she got an award.
Does this mean Otsuka Ai won THE rock/pop album of 2005? Meaning she beat out all other albums listed? |

HilaryDuffFanboy, I believe that has to do with the fact that they can't invite every single winner to the show to perform due to time constraint and maybe budget.  So yeah, only Ai-chin got invited to the show so they announce her as the last winner so she can give speech and perform after receiving the award.
I might be wrong though, but that's how I understand that without understanding anything they spoke throughout the show.  |

| yeeah, if everybody got to perform, the show would be stretched for half a day long! im still currently downloading the show....is yui in it? i mean, i know she won an award, but is she in the show? |

Ah OK, that makes sense.... Oh well, Otsuka Ai is still great anyway!
Yes YUI is in it!!! She wins a new artist award, and she performs an acoustic version of Feel My Soul. She is always so shy and cute!! |

I miss her long hair too!
she look pretty in long hair, but she look cuter in shorter hair..
haha..

OMG. She's so adorable  I've actually never seen her with short curly hair, and it's so cute ^^.
i'm so happy for her =D. her dresses are so nice! i prefer these kind of dresses compared to like Charlize Theron's huge ribbon dress during the Oscars O__O.

What a coincidence! My relatives in Japan sent me a recording of this actual event live and I was very excited to see Ai win the award! I think she definitely deserved it and I wish her well for the future!  |
