I really enjoyed that part spoken in chinese XD It's prolly my favorite! I love when Ai-chan doesn't understand much and says Okay okay and xie xie (thanks) SHE'S ADORABLE!
The rest of the PV gave me a SMILY feeling to it although I prefer Smily to Frienger.

I like the song a lot. Heard that it's been filmed in Taiwan. I was laughing at her weird Chinese accent. The way she said "Ok" was really funny too. I think I'll really enjoy watching it more times.

Those colored motorcyclists resembles "Power Rangers". Uncanny. But cute PV overall. Will give it a 7/10. Laughing

I thought this pv was really cute. Her expression as she was riding on the scooter/motercycle thing was funny and her hair is cute short. ^_^ I also liked it when they showed that lady attacking and throwing stuff at the husband. Laughing

Like the song itself, the PV has grown on me.
The opening with the "Okay Okay" line was so endearing and I definitely agree that she looks so cute when putting the helmet on. Nod

While I enjoyed the 'storyline' of the video (bikes, Friengers, etc.), I felt Ai looked somewhat awkward/uncomfortable in some of the shots of her dancing in front of the separate backgrounds--like at times she wasn't exactly sure of what she was doing or supposed to be doing. I think a lot of this has to do with the mid-tempo nature of Frienger. It feels a tad mello-er than her other upbeat songs, like SMILY or Happy Days, thereby asking for less running and jumping around. I think the PV would have served the song better if the director gave Ai more to do. Like, what if instead of singing *in front of* the scenes all the time, she had been *within* some of them, still singing to the camera, but casually reacting/interacting with the actors. Some kind of middle-ground between the bike-riding (which is so amusing) and the pure for-the-camera performance (which is still very important, especially since we get to see her great new hairstyle and purple contacts! Love ).

I think Ai is also in a difficult position age-wise where she is trying to transition professionally from pure cutesy hyper to slightly more mature fare, while still maintaining the cute-ness which comes so naturally. While Japan always has room for (and encourages in most cases) cute in every age bracket, she is growing up. Going from 'teen girl' to 'young lady'...

On a different note, I noticed there has been a lot of talk about her shirt. (It's very cute--I'm currently working on screening a copy of it for myself!)
eyn was right to point out that 'crapshoot' means "Something that is random, not based on skill." This is because it originates from the dice game Craps. Wiki
Further, like most forms of gambling, there is great risk involved, i.e. one either wins big or loses big--rarely is there a happy medium. So the term 'crapshoot' usually implies taking a big chance with those two possible outcomes.
When I first saw the shirt, I figured many would be unfamiliar with the term (probably even Ai and her costumer), but thought it amusingly appropriate given the circumstances. It is her first single to come out after LOVE COOK--setting the stage and tone of the fourth album to come. Also, it marks a drastic physical appearance change (new short hair--that's not a wig Giggle ). And, as discussed above, looking at a slightly different style of upbeat music. While it is still very-much the Ai we have all come to know and love, changes *are* present. I can't fathom that her risks (while minor, the Japanese public is a fickle thing) will blow up in her face ('losing big'). They seem to be ones for the good... Love

I apologize for the long-winded post... I haven't been able to post for so long and Ai seems to bring out the talkative person in me... Gomen ne. Embarassed

i like the song. well, it's kinda cute, not as hyper as sakuranbo though.

the PV is okay, it's pretty funny but the outfit doesnt suit her. and even though i like her hair cut, it doesnt suit perfectly in the PV. i dont know why... she shouldnt curl it.

I liked the pv when I first watched it..and I also kind of wondered why the Friengers resembled Power Rangers... now that I think about it, the word Frienger, and Ranger do sound alike...
