thanks, guys.
i'm going to make the most of this last week we have together before i'm leaving for Japan. for a whole month... didn't think anything could make me that much less excited about going there, and i'm definitely still riled about it (i mean, c'mon, it's Japan! ), but i'm seriously going to miss her.  we would've tried to get hold of a somewhat cheap ticket for her too if it hadn't been because she's chinese and have to get a visa to go there, and time is too scarce. she might be going back to China while i'm gone, though. |

so...
a couple of days ago me and my gf  came back from a trip a couple of days to Gdansk and Sopot in Poland. and there was a reason we took the time off from our quite hectic schedule to go there. due to certain circumstances this has kinda been planned by both of us, but at least i had kept one thing secret.
okay, cutting to the chase... WE'RE ENGAGED!
the thing i kept secret was a pop-up book i made which included some important moments on our journey up until now. it took a lot more time to make than i thought it would, heh. but of course, worth is. 
and what's more, i told family yesterday, but couldn't get hold of my sister and her boyfriend until today. and when we told them they said that they had their 10th anniversary as a couple, and later in the evening they called and said that they too were engaged!  so there's a lot of things happening right now... just became an uncle last month too. |

feels like i've hi-jacked this thread, haha.
anyway, here goes: since 8 days i'm a happily married man.
we just got back from Barcelona a couple of days ago (awesome place, go there), and i'm starting to get back to normal pace again after a couple of crazy months.
the wedding day felt so unreal and strange, in a good way. it really went by fast, if you think about how much time that was spent preparing for it. not doing that again, for several reasons, haha. even though it was awesome.
just wanted to say hi and share. hope you guys are all doing well, and i'll see you around here. |
