I don't and I don't want one just yet... It's year 12... no time for these things!! That's why my teacher keeps on drilling into me everyday anyway. xP
I don't need a girlfriend so far either, I just need good friends, which I have. |

I don't have one and I'm not looking for one. But if the right guy comes along, sure. It's funny actually, just the other day my dad was asking why I was home so much and why don't I "go out". If I didn't know better, I would say he's trying to marry me off and kick me out of the house |

There have been people I like, but I don't have one. I think I feel like a loser, haven't had one for about 3 years haha but I think, in my town, the way people are, my personality and interests are *too* different to everyone else.. I live in like, a conservative hick town ahaha and boys are like cowboys and like the prep girl who act like slut ahaha. So I don't want to be with people like that
For me, I don't care if I have a boyfriend or not right now, cause if I found someone and then got serious, im leaving my province later this year, so I know that would suck. So maybe I will just hold out on anything until I move
Ohh Yuko, if you don't love your BF why are you dating him?? Seems strange to me. |

Nope I'm single and have been for quite a while, except for the random occassional dates. I'm a very practical person and not really romantic so I suppose relationships and me don't exactly work well. |

...I have a best friend who I hang out with all the time and we've known each other since we were little....and then all of a sudden he tells me that he likes me more than a friend..but I don't think I'm ready for a boyfriend yet..cuz I'm only 14 and he's 16..... and I get shy to talk about stuff like this with him... |

No, but I'm looking~ Well not literally...to me guys are so immature
and totally not worth spending so much time on...
shopping on the other hand is a better choice...
sorry if this offends any male members of ch-ai...
probably this is because guys never seem to be able to express themselves fully
like they say you can never win an arguement with a girl (generalization)...
but also another true thing is that girls dress to impress girls...
i don't dress to impress anyone but myself hahaXD
well occasionally for my best frd when we go shopping but otherwise no...
but there's also another saying is that no one's perfect until you fall in love with them
so i guess that is quite true b/c when ur in love some things wont matter anymore
@ yuko...
Skull Rabbit is right...isnt it weird to be with someone you don't like?
If you do like someone else then by all means stop dragging this relationship on n on
no offense sis...i will always be 100% on ur side~
@Saaya
it sounds like someone has a crush XD
Sometimes that how a beautiful love story starts...
First you guys are best friends and then you guys go out...
very normal~ |

Yeah, I've had a boyfriend for a few weeks now. So far things have been pretty back and forth, with me being happy and content one day and the next thinking that he's too immature for me (he's a year younger than me...) and I should just move on. He has a great sense of humor and I can tell that he likes me a lot, but maybe I'm just unfit to date people. I have way too many standards for my own good! |

@kikubelle
teenagers are immature, period, irrespective of whether they're boys or girls. i know, i used to be a teenager, and now that i look back on it, i was very immature at the time indeed. so my advice to you and everyone else on this thread, don't think in terms of maturity. when you like someone, you like someone. and one day when you really fall for someone, their maturity level won't even matter, because you will like them for who they are, in all their being.
@Aprilis & orange_ka
maybe it's just me, but i think fathers have a special spot for their daughters, (especially protective when they're young,) and will never wish for them to leave the house forever. so if they're asking you, maybe they're just trying to let you know that they are now ok with you stepping out and getting bfs so that you don't have to hide anything from them or maybe they're just reassuring themselves that you will be staying with them a little while longer. i think that that's a much nicer way to look at it, don't you
@HilaryDuffFanboy
dude, i know exactly what you mean. your teachers are correct. your school finals quite literally decide your fate in terms of what college you will go to, to do what kind of degree and therefore how much money you will earn in the future and therefore what your life will be like. good luck for your finals.
@yuko
i agree with skull_rabit and kikubelle, it's slightly odd that you're in such a situation. should that situation change is entirely upto you, maybe you're not being fair to your bf and maybe you're not even being fair to your classmate who you like (who knows, he might like you back) but most of all, are you being fair to yourself?
@Saaya
if you're not ready, and he can wait, then there's no harm in waiting. your story is so cute, its like a movie or a romance novel.
lol, i feel like the love doctor on this thread hahahaha, no one HAS to take my advice, in the matters of love, taking advice from other people is often a bad idea, no, not often, always, it's always a bad idea. do what your heart tells you to do.

Why are all teenagers immature? I don't think you should make this assumption just because you were immature yourself. A lot of teenagers are actually more mature than many adults.
And in terms of having a relationship, you should go out with someone with the same maturity as you... Or else it'll be very troubling for you because the other person just doesn't understand you or the situation. |
