there isn't much i can do to contribute to channel ai's b-day except go online that day  i don't have a scanner or am a master with photoshop >_< however, i really like horizon180's idea of ai's Birthday Song playing when you come to channel-ai. it would make everything so happy!  |

Well, I guess it's about time for me to get back to all the wonderful ideas you guys have come up with. 
First of all, I guess it's kinda dumb for me to make this website around April since it's the exam period and some people like me are probably busy with the exams. Looking back, I was slacking off from my preparation of exams a year ago and made this forum out of nowhere all of a sudden! Anyway, I reckon it's still a good decision despite being totally random and rushed. 
Thanks kikubelle for your great ideas and suggestions. I'm afraid you spent more effort thinking about the welfare of this site than I do.  I'll try to post my opinion on each of the suggestion you come out with.
1) Family picture
This is definitely a good idea, those of you who aren't afraid to show yourself can submit photos to a person in charge and we can make a Channel-Ai community wallpaper featuring all members in their wacky pose.  I've seen stuff like this being done at other community and I think it will definitely bring members closer together by looking at their pictures everyday.  Okay, I really doubt we are able to pull this idea out within such a short time i.e. before April 13, but we should definitely give this a try and put someone in charge of it. So Skull Rabbit is in I guess, anyone else?
2) Special private message
Okay, this is embarassing, you guys don't really need to send me PM honestly.  I'm glad you guys are enjoying this community and I hope more people can find themselves at home here everytime you visit this place and get to know more cool people from anywhere around the world. I did, so I hope you do too! 
3) Make contribution to Channel-Ai
This sounds so promising. One of the very few things I don't really like is that not many people actually contributes to this community. By this, I don't mean you have to post the latest news and downloads because many times that's just beyond your abilities. What you can do is to share your opinions, post comments in the gallery, upload pictures that's not yet available in the gallery into the proper section etc. It's really easy stuff, and I hope to see more people take initiative to make this place better and more interactive. I really don't want to be the only people updating the gallery with pictures (I know kikubelle did helped) and post news with detailed information. You can do the same too, I'm pretty sure! 
And the chat thing, yeah it will be awesome if you all can be on the chat room that day and have fun chatting with people you've never talked to before! And people, please don't disable the "receiving alerts from other users", it makes it easier to get your attention when someone did join the chat room while you are surfing another site or doing other things. Afterall, the chat room doesn't play a sound when a message appears, unlike your messenger client. 
Lastly, using the YesAsia associate link is always appreciated, so that I can organize more contest without using my own money to buy the prizes and I can sustain the hosting without paying everything by myself.
4) Go to Channel-Ai on April 13, 2006
I wonder if we can make a new "most user online" record on this day. If you guys do join the chat room and have fun there it might be possible, but anyway I'm not putting too much expectation on this one. 
Now for other suggestion mentioned in this thread so far:
1) Play Ai-chin's "Birthday Song" when you visit the forum
It's definitely doable, but I hope this won't cause too much annoyance to you guys. I might embed a player somwhere in this theme and make it mute-able so you can mute it if you find it annoying.
I think that's about it? Well, if you wonder why I have time to reply all of a sudden, I have almost a week off till my next exam, so I'll be a little more free this few days. |

So then, its like a wallpaper with the different members, if they still have their drawn bodies or something? That would be how I could contribute haha.
If this idea can work , I wonder how many people would actually end up entering their photo and how big the bodies would be as well to fit them all in the same picture 
Well probably if someone else can join up with me for this, we can get a thread going specifically for people to enter their photo, and have a deadline (because yeah, like eyn says, probably won't be done by the 13th at all if we want to get as many people as we can!), and I can kind of just draw the bodies into like a gathering (I don't know how to explain this right) and then have someone else post the heads on or something? Is this a good idea?
I guess we'll see if this can work out
Oh, and I will definately try to be in the chat on the 13th! I have no plans that day, I will celebrate channel-ai's birthday |

Don't say that eyn ^^ although I am flattered that u did say that i put lots of effort into forum ^^. I can't believe my post was actually like 750 words (the longest topic i ever made). You are a very excellent admin and I am glad you do what you do. Your contribution definately makes Channel-Ai a better place to be. I come here and slack hahahaXD kinda makes channel-ai a bad place in my scenario but I love it because I can take a little break from my hwk shift that sometimes ends at 7am  . The private messaging thing was supposed to be fun and less embarassing. It feels like elementary school where you would literally send valentine day cards to your friends. That was my original intention. No one has to do it but I will do it for sure ^0^! Tomorrow I have to tutor kids after school until 6:30pm but after that I will sit in front of my computer and 100% stay in chatroom to show my Channel-Ai spirit! Well except maybe I won't be there at dinner time but you get my point!

It's been a fun year and really got to know some Ai's fans and even managed to hangout with them.
*cough* Because Singapore is a small country *cough*
Cool, idea in placing the Birthday song, i really liked it!
Who would be cruel enough to mute it?
I hope that we could have the highest amout of registered user online as well..
but doesn't different parts of the world has a different time? |

| Today the 13th.I manage to check this out prefectly on time.Hope that it will not be only some anniverasy but for 4ever.And like gary(Runawayschi) say,the time in each zone is different so it may be messed up in the process.There are even some country that are in the 12th of april now,whereas my clock now show 13th of april with the time at 3pm.so other members in different country are viewing my reply to this thread with other different time.And time is indeed running short to chage anything as today is the big day... |

Just woked up from my bed, and headed towards my computer and logged in and comed here to ch-ai straight away.
Just wanted to drop some lines. Its been quite experience to be.
here but truth to be told im really happy that i joined here in the first place when i founded out this site. And that love towards Cha-ai has not gone. and mayby it
will never be so i wanted to thank Eyn and all the great members of channel-ai like runawayschi ^^^your the man! ^__^ making this place such a wonderfull place but further small talks happy could we say basu-day channel-ai. |
