We all know Otsuka Ai will partake in A'Nation '06, this year, but it was just announced yesterday that Otsuka Ai will also take part in the 「Excite Music Festival'06」, in which I expect she will be the headline act as she seems the most famous out of all the other artists.
10 artists are chosen, and it seems 5 will perform on 01/07, while the other 5 will perform on 02/07. Otsuka Ai is performing on 02/07.

Firstly, I think this is awesome that she is participating in such events and mingling with other talented artists. I definitely like the lineup for Otsuka Ai's shows, bias aside, I really really like KOBUKURO (even though their album just over took LOVE COOK and is now 2nd best selling Studio album of 2006. ), and Ayaka Hirahira, like KOBUKURO can also belt out great ballads.
I really hope both concerts make it onto DVD!!!
I think this will also be the largest indoor stadium Otsuka Ai has ever performed in!! |

none of the other stars, i would say are any less in magnitude compared to her, but i do see what you mean. kobukuro and sukima switch are both big bands in their own respect and hitoto yo and ayaka hirahara have huge followings too.
but yey for ai-chin

| Since I don't even know who all the people are on this one I'm sure she'll headline. She is the biggest and best so yay for her! |

That's good news to see Ai participating in more events!
I don't know half the people on that list up there though...>.< and I've never heard of this event before.
Hopefully we will be able to see some clips of this, better yet, hope this will come out in a DVD |

Well, I don't know if anyone still remembers about this, but Otsuka Ai performed at the Excite Music Festival '06 last night!!
Ai-chin performed six songs, most of them were her 'hits'. Here is a full rundown of Otsuka Ai's portion. I gather that she performed after Ayaka Hirahira finished her segment.
- Sakuranbo
- Frienger
- SMILY
MC
- Planetarium
- Haneari Tamago
MC
- Yumekui
This is like, an awesome rundown, the only change I would make is swap Haneari Tamago for Cherish, but nonetheless, all those songs are my favourites. This must make it onto DVD!!
I love how she performs Yumekui at the end!! Hopefully it will entice the fans of the other artists performing to buy the single! And it seems Haneari Tamago really IS her favourite track from LOVE COOK, as she revealed on Music Fighter. (I'm QUITE sure it was that show.)

Oh yeah, I flew to Japan on Sunday morning at 8am (AUS Time), got to Japan at 3pm (JP Time), then caught a taxi straight to Yoyogi Stadium in time for the concert which started at 4pm (JP Time). After the concert at around 6:30pm, I quickly took a taxi back to the airport and caught my 7:30pm flight back to Melbourne. Just in time to start a new semester at school!
Just kidding. I got the information from.... my credits. Look there. |

| That's a pretty awesome set list but I would have added in Happy Days and Cherish. Also, I would have made it at least like 10 songs. That would make it almost perfect. |

Please take in consideration there are 4 other artists performing. If each artist performed 10 songs, you'd have a very very long concert of 50 songs. |

| Well yes, but she was the headliner so she should get more. Plus, if the first 3 did like 30 minute sets each and she got at least an hour it really wouldn't be that long. |
