The very first Channel-Ai Torontonian Outing was held on May 7th, 2006. Quick recap: OCAD Graduate Exhibit, Destiny's Tea Lounge, Pacific Mall and dinner at restaurant called Maydoh.
I am such a big clutz. First thing i did wrong was set my alarm to 8:25 pm instead of am and ended up waking up at 9:15am. Not enough time to get ready and leave house.  Well girls do take a lot of time to prepare to go out, but I felt bad for being late to pick up eyn at union. The Finch bus was so slow but after I got onto the subway, things got faster. eyn called me when I was at Davisville(station) and I felt so guilty when I told him I had to be late.  Gomen ne...for wasting your quarter. When I got to Union, I didn't see eyn, so I walked around shouting yys and singing SMILY(b/c it was my cellphone ringtone) in hopes that he might hear it and recognize me as kikubelle.
caffeinated called me 15 minutes before and said she was at DUNDAS STREET WEST already. I was like okay, I'm just waiting for eyn. LVXS called me and said he was at Eaton Centre?! I told him to walk over since i was on the other side of the loop(subway loop). eyn called me back and I said I'm already there and waiting at the entrance not the platform. eyn was actually having mcdonalds *tsk tsk tsk*  but I couldn't shun him because I skipped breakfast to catch the bus  . Me and eyn took the subway to St.Patrick(station). Then I was like uh oh! I told caffeinated and next design that we were going to meet DUNDAS STREET WEST???!!!
me and eyn waited under a random tree outside a TD Bank. I called LVXS again to see how he was doing, and then I told him I am at DUNDAS STREET WEST and university(street). He said he was going to walk over so me and eyn waited. eyn was touching the leaves of the tree we were under and I was like "don't vandalize the tree!" while i was still onthe phone with LVXS. I recalled caffeinated who was already with NextDesign and told her she went to the wrong bus stop and that she was at DUNDAS STREET WEST and somewhere near kipling. Apparently me and NextDesign had a big miscommmunication. he told me that DUNDAS STREET WEST was on the other side of Toronto and I misunderstood it as other side of the loop. :PAnd I just reponded with a umm...OCAD is there?! LVXS arrives with his power ranger sunglasses and his really kawaii satan neckstrap which i stole and ran away with. I had a lot of jingly things on me, LVXS said now we wont lose you, which was so mean but they did lose me, more than once 
After everyone arrived at 1pm we walked down the wrong street. Frankly, LVXS knew the way and didn't say it till afterwards. kikubelle is a very confused tour guide. next time I cannot be so laid back about downtown, must triple check before I leave my house.  We walked to OCAD and entered the exhibition. It was very innovative and I loved the material arts portion of it. During the 4th floor, everyone was in a room and I left the room to go into a big painting room and the others went in another direction of the exhibit. I got kinda lost. They didn't come find me but I found them We needed to go to the 5th floor. we found a staircase and there was a ver steep iron staircase that seemingly lead to the 5th floor. I started climbing it and got scared and then went back down. LVXS climbed it and when he came down very scared hahaXD. We went back to the main staircase with elevators. Okay, let's do some excercise and take the stairs! Bad move. There was like 10 flights of stairs until the 5th floor.
After exploring the 5th floor we went to Destiny's Tea Lounge. We watched Ai Chin PVs on caffeinated's cellphone and eyn's ipod video. We then ate caffeinated's fruit platter on the way to the place. Yummy ~ A lady walked by and stole our fruits, which was so toatlly rude. I got eyn hooked on blackberries. He is picky eater! Only eats what he likes. caffeinated and me struggled to get LVXS to eat more fruit. He refused. She threw a blueberry at him. Then I gave everyone the little souvenir I made for them. A limited edition collectable made by kikubelle kakaka.

Destiny's Tea Lounge was so deserted and dark in the daytime(I always go at night). We talked for a while and got to know everyone pretty well. Me and caffeinated stole LVXS' sunglasses.

Everyone had like a $4 bubbletea and then we went to Pacific Mall.
We walked around. Me and caffeinated kinda did shopping but bought nothing. I felt sorry for the guys because I did not think they would like shopping. LVXS has a thing on his head haha:lol: all thanks to caffeinated but the lady in the store said no photos but we got one!
now its time for what you have been waiting for, the group picture!
eyn wants to stay unknown since he thinks that it will get more people to go to the next outing and only those who did go will know what he looked like. Reasonable but that face makes him look funny
Afterwards we went out for dinner too...
we order three main courses and shared everything. However there was some beef leftover. So we played a game. I cut up the beef into many pieces. Then everyone has to look at my fingers for countdown. When the countdownis over you are supposed to say a number from 1-5 and if another person says the same number you both had to eat a piece of beef. That is how we got rid of the beef leftover. LVXS eats lots of rice and loves curry. I like to eat lamb, eyn shared with me but he had a hard time eating his? I made him eat veggies! lol. caffeinated ate part of the beef main course. NextDesign is a guy who ate a bit of everything. Then I had ice cream for desert and so did LVXS because there were only two. Then we paid for dinner and split it among everyone. It was only like $7 per person i think and $35 total with tips. Oh, LVXS revealed his name to the rest of the Ch-ai members but I knew it all along because it was on his xanga. And they stopped asking me my chinese name hahaXD  |

OMG!!! You guys are so lucky!!! It sounds like so much fun... wish I could have been there!! It's so hard to find any Otsuka Ai fans here, I only know of one, just_inhk....

It was an awsome trip. Garr... I dont look good in that picture (4th from the left). Yes.... I was the only canadian 
I had a great time getting to know you guys.
Hopefully do it again some time!

Sounds like you guys had fun.  That's sooo cool. Why are there no Otsuka Ai fans in New York? I lie, there's the lady at Kinokuniya, but she doesn't count. That fruit platter sure does look delicious, and those charm souvenirs are soooo cool.
I hope that other forum members will have the opportunity to meet fellow Chai members! After the success of this first one, I'm sure many others will love to give it a try. |

i forgot to mention that when me eyn and LVXS were still waiting for caffeinated and NextDesign, LVXS was randomly yelling caffeinated's real name on the street. Then a lady walked by and talked to us an dwe were like yes....anyways another thing i forgot to mention was that when we went to Destiny's Tea Lounge, since its near my house and general area I live in, my mom thought I was going prom dress shopping with chinese school friends...so i was hiding behind LVXS because he was wearing black everytime we crossed the street hahaXD I hope more people do come next time,
@R_Hikki, its not my fault you didn't come. Even after much persuasion you guys didn't come and its your loss. We had loads of fun! Too bad for you and Evil_Tomba.
@Aprilis, I am so sorry, I kind of made a promise to you that I will take a picture of eyn for you but in the end he wont let me post or I will get banned =/ anyways, if you do come next summer let's go out ^0^
@mrc Thank you for encouraging me and my line of collectibles. One day I will send you one =^-^= and to people who DESERVE ONE. Maybe next outing I will make Onigiri, its easier to accomadate the number of people who want to come now.
@broken::dreams I plan to go to New York soon...maybe next spring break or something...We'll have a NYC all GIRLS Shopping Outing

| Hahah throwing a blueberry at LVXS was very satisfying. It was a very very fun outting. Whoever didn't go missed out on a lot! We should all give thanks to Kikubelle for putting up such a detailed and complete summary, and pictures~ Eyn is a mystery still, muwahahaha. |

Holy crap, sounds like it was a heck of a lot of fun! I wish I could have been there. Meh, I live like 15 minutes away from the Canadian border and getting to Toronto would take me a few hours, but it's still pretty impossible for me to get there! Maybe someday, or when I'm in college or something. XDD
But I might go to New York this summer! It would be fun if we could put together an outing then!  |

Anyways, now I'm even more upset that I don't live anywhere near there. XD But that's okay. It sounds like you all had such a good time! ^_^ I'm glad to hear that.
OMG THAT EVIL FRUIT STEALING LADY SUCKS. GEEZ, THE NERVE!! Didn't she notice that THE Geekmaster was around? Huh? HUH? I bet that if she did notice that, she'd totally drop the fruit and RUN FOR HER LIFE.
You know, the next time I see a person with a fruit platter, I'm gonna yell viciously at them. Even if they're a boy. You never know, she/he might have gotten some surgery done.
So yeah, that's right lady, I'm going to Canada later this month (nowhere near Toronto, Quebec to be exact.. YAY ITS GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN ^^), and if I see you, you are DEAD MEAT. (okay maybe more like DEAD FRUIT STEALING DUDETTE) |
