Oricon just keeps those polls coming! This time two polls were conducted to find the "sexiest" and "coolest" female artists!!
The results are expected, though with some surprises.

I would never believe that Utada Hikaru would beat Otsuka Ai in the sexiest poll! Well, more that I'm surprised Hikki even made it! She is pretty, sure, but sexy?  No surprise that Kumi Koda took that out.... Mika at 2nd place was surprising as well....
Otsuka Ai as 7th coolest is also about right...though seriously, "sexy and cool" aren't the first adjectives that come to mind when describing Otsuka Ai. 
I think Mika really deserves first place for coolest, she was so cool as NANA. One thing I just have to point out and find most shocking of all, BoA didn't make it onto the sexiest list.  |

HilaryDuffFanboy..shouldn't you be studying?..exams soon..haha..but anyway..i agree.. utada..isn't...well..sexy..but at lesat otsuka beat BoA on the coolest listt..hehe..Go Otsuka!...  |

That's awesome that Ai made it on to both lists. Aren't these polls done by fans? It goes to show that she's gotten herself a bit more of a fanbase, if you ask me. Often times people will vote for their favorite artists for any poll, given it doesn't shed them in a negative light.
Also, I think Hikki is quite sexy and beautiful. |

not very sure about her being sexy LOL.... but Ai is cool so yep i think she should be at 5th place instead haha [ bias me ]
Its Ayumi in sexiest too ? that shocked me tho... ? shes more of stylish i guess  |

Lol I'm not THAT surprised Hikki beat Ai... I never really thought of Ai as sexy. She's always melting cute in my eyes hah. Maybe because I'm a girl? >_> Nah don't think.
I think Ayu can definitely be sexy though~ She has so many different looks.  |

True, true...there were some surprises. But talking about suprises Utada beated Ai-san?
Well for me Ai-san is more attractive then Utada.
But enough of the *small talks* im quite satisfied in to this list,
i noticed two of my fav. artist were ranked high (Ai-san and, Yumiko Shiina aka. Shiina Ringo
Nice to see that ai Ai-san is in succes and she is doing good  |

Either way I'm glad for Ai that she's at least on the list though !
Even if she's not at the top, she doesn't need to be because that isn't what defines her anyway .
No matter what though, she's a force to be reckoned with! |

| whoa, im amazed that utada hikaru made it into sexiest too and mika nakashima is second?! but i do have to agree with koda kumi being first go ai! she made it into both!! |

| I so agree with that. Indeed nobody would think of "cool" or "sexy" at first when describing Otsuka Ai...and yes it is strange that Utada Hikaru also made it there on sexy...personally, I also find it strange that Aiko made it as well. She doesn't really strike me as sexy...oh well...polls are always fun to read, and to see what the majority of people believe |

its strange how Hitomi is quite inactive right now but yet shes 6th for SEXY(dam shes sexy..)...but seriously...i dont find mika nakashima "sexy"...cool...sure...but sexy....weird....especially she sings barefooted during live performances...
