Hey all

Anyone see the new X-Men movie yet?

X-Men 3 - The Last Stand was an awesome film. I went to see it on Thursday, on the first day of it's showing here in the UK. It was on the day my exams ended, so it was ace!

The film itself is massive, some epic level battles, the ending is quite sad, there's quite a few twists in the film though so I'm sure everyone will enjoy them. It starts off a while after the second film left off, not quite sure though just how much after.

Here's a secret-tip!

If you go to see the film, make sure you stay till the very very very very end, after the credits. There's an extra bit of scene in the end that lasts about 20 seconds and it will blow you away!!!!!

^_^

Not seen the third one, but the first and second. I liked 'em. I'm going to go watch that one too. Can you PM me and tell the spoiler that does anything happen to Rogue? Crying

Oh yea, i watched it yesterday, for me, the story is not as well as i imagine before i go in to the cinema. I don't know why Jean will reborn like that, and she kills Professor Charles Xavier and Scott Summers(Cyclops), i can't accept it. Crying

And Warren Worthington III(Angel), he is in the second row in the poster, i thought that he is a very important character in X-3, but the total time he appears on the screen is less than 10 minutes i think...

But i watch X & X-2 before, so i must finish the last episode of it. And i didn't saw the last 20 seconds scene after the credits, because the cinema ''chase'' us out once the credits start, after ''Gandalf''(Ian McKellen/ Eric Lensherr/ Magneto) move the chess... haha i love to call him Ganfalf. Laughing

woah! i didn't expect you to blurt out the entire plot! lol! I better add a "warning: spoilers" in the topic.

It's not surprising that Jean Gray came back, everyone knew that she was going too, especially since at the end of X2, they show a silhouette under the water... it's an obvious hint to the Pheonix.

But yes, Cyclops' death was dissapointing. Also, Gambit wasn't in it. I also expected Angel to do more than just save his father and run away. I thought the Jugernot was cool but I loved how he got done by Shadowcat (I was dissapointed that they didn't call her that). Also, I was dissapointed that the real most powerful X-men ie Rogue, didn't do much in this film. The stand off between Pyro and Iceman was cool too. Hale Berry is always cool as Storm; and Fraiser, yes Fraiser (Kelsey Grammer) as the Beast!!! Awesome!!

All and all, I liked the film. I don't agree that the plot was bad, I thought it was rather clever. It was really like a 2 hour episode of the cartoon series. Boogie

It's highly unlikely that they will make a fourth but I thought it was a good end. And yes, everyone should try and stick till the end of the credits to see what happens.

^_^

I want to watch it too! But I'll wait till my dad gets home, than I'll drag him (and probably my sister) along to watch it.

Thanks for the tip horizon180! I always try to contain myself and watch all the credits. I'll definitly stay and watch all the credits for X3!

I skipped thru most of the other post, I'm afraid it'll contain spoilers Shifty

Me and a friend went last night. It was a good film, of course it would be quite impossible to make a bad film out of what they have to work with (Stewart, McKellen, lots of money). The only thing that I thought was awful was..........

Vinnie Jones *shudder* How does that man still manage to get work in Hollywood? He can't act and his voice sounds so stupid. The line "Do you know who I am?! I'm Juggernaut you b***h!" almost had me laughing my head off.

There were a few dodgy bits that weren't explained very well but I suppose the audience can figure out that for themselves.

They really don't need to make a fourth film because this one rounded off the three films very nicely. I heard that they're going to make a Wolverine film anyway so that would make more sense than another sequel.

So yeah if Vinnie Jones doesn't annoy you then it's a great movie.

I saw it and liked it. Not so blown away but it was good. And the people at the movie theater told us to stay til the end, so we did, and WOAH. It was exciting. Giggle I didn't think the plot was stupid. It shows how afraid people are of things they can't understand or control. Phoenix was obvious. I was incredibly upset Cyclops died, and really disappointed Gambit was no where to be found! He was my favorite character. Crying

Overall, I recommend this for any one who liked the first 2 movies. Smile

OMG, I should have came to read all these postings before going to see it today. I didn't stay till the end (after the credits) because I didn't know...AHHHHH!! can someone who stayed PM me and tell me what happened?

The movie was good...but had some disappointing parts....Rogue didn't go and fight with them towards the end....the Angel appeared so little throughout the film...Cyclops died....but the graphics were awesome!!! Giggle

It was pretty good. I think in terms of battles, this movie was better than the first two. Also, in terms of Rogue it was better, since she's not in it very much in this one. Tongue

Sorry, don't like what they did with Rogue for the movies. Nor did I like Cyclops, so this movie made me pretty happy. Storm was actually good in this movie, though! I didn't like her in the first two, but in this one, she was fantastic.

I don't know why they called this "The Last Stand," though. They've already announced plans for a fourth movie. If they planned to end it, they should end it, although I'm not opposed to a fourth movie if they include Gambit this time. Then again, I don't see him hitting it off well with the movie-version of Rogue. She's too much of a wimp.

Anyway, it was a good movie. Just as good (if not better) than the first two.

I really enjoyed this movie a lot! Unlike most comic readers, I really like the fact that it strays away from the real story because I don't know what to expect at all. I really like the fact that they introduced so many characters. I like this much more then concentrating on a few key character. Haha, and Juggernaut's line to Kitty Pride just made me laugh my lungs out because of hit spoof on youtube. "Do you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut B****!"
