According to the official website, Ai's 9th single "NEKO ni fuusen" (ネコに風船) and the "JAM PUNCH Tour 2005" DVD will be released on 7/13 and 7/27 respectively.
JAM PUNCH Tour 2005 DVD will have 2 different version, i.e. the Deluxe Edition and the Normal Edition. No further information has been released at this point, I guess the Deluxe Edition probably come with a bonus CD or "behind the scenes" DVD, who knows.

You don't need a region free dvd player to play region 2 DVD. I have a way out, personally my DVD player is not region free but I manage to watch region 2 DVD as well. Don't worry, go ahead and buy it, when you want to watch it, gimme a PM and I'll tell you how to watch them without region free DVD player.
I'll preorder this DVD for sure so if nobody posted the torrent before me, I will post a direct download in this forum once I get it myself. |

It is confirmed that the Deluxe edition will include a "Behind the scene" bonus DVD. The performance that will be filmed into this DVD will take place at Tokyo International Forum on June 1, 2005. Funny enough, the DVD info was released before the performance actually take place.
I do hope they spend more effort on the costume and hairstyle this time. Afterall it's a show for all Ai's fan around the world that don't have chance to attend the concert themselves. |

Is that Tokyo International Forum a bigger event than the last ones? More place and more fans? |

Should be the biggest venue for JAM PUNCH Tour 2005, but I'm not entirely sure. I bet avex will spend more effort on the show afterall it's the one they will be showing every fans from all around the world. |

I think toyko being the capital of japan will certainly draw a larger number of fans... |

That's not entirely true. The JAM PUNCH Tour video I posted earlier shows part of the concert held in Tokyo (at different hall), but from the video you can guessed the stage is small and not heavily decorated. Ai's costume sucks too, seems like they didn't put much effort on the dressing and setting up the atmosphere.
Small hall = not much people, despite the fact that there's more population in Tokyo. |
