What is your favorite part of a song that Ai-chan has done? So say if I were talking about Kingyo Hanabi, my favorite part in that song has to be the background music, the drums really make me think "oh wow, I love that" So what part in any song makes you think oh wow thats really: neat or sad or happy or funny or anything that catches your attention a lot. |

I really like the arrangement of PLANETARIUM, and it really did made the song much better. Without the awesome arrangements, the song would be just mediocre. |

I agree, I love the background of "Planetarium"...makes me feel like I'm up with the stars...got such a dreamy feel. I especially love the flute at the beginning, its a great touch to the song.
The best part is the "firework" sound near the end, I totally love that part! |

I love that part!
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this thread was HAPPY DAYS and the part where she sings, "Yume wo mita yo... yume kai!!" The "yume kai" part is great. I think that one was really accented by the PV, though.
There are so many really cool sounds and effects in Ai's songs that draw you in, though. |

The final chorus of PLANETARIUM. The bang of the firework. The emotion filled voice. The sweet melody which evokes a sense of longing for someone. It's too beautiful.
Honourable mention: Bridge of Cherish (must be live though). The vibrato is just, awesome. I can listen to it forever. |

Yeah I would have to definitely agree with the bang of the firework in Planetarium, it's very emotional! Also when she sings it live sometimes, depending on the occasion, they will add a visual effect of a firework ascending into the night sky and exploding in sync with the music; it adds a lot of impact!
In 5:09a.m., when Ai gets to the part beginning with "Hajimari" she sings it with so much energy and everything else before it just seems to build up into it !
When I wake up in the morning to go to school (around 5:09a.m. ) I can listen to that song and feel ready to start my day! |

for me i think it has to be the lyrics to "shabondama". i don't know why but i can feel those lyrics on a personal level. i think its the whole memory of a cloudless sky compared to a cloudy sky of the now...(that's from the chorus) .. its just so good, its my song
@Celcius005: is that by any chance a Sheena from Tales of Symphonia ava...?? |

OH I love Shabondama too, its so emotional.. I really love the dreamy sound to it. I also love cherish (background and everything else), Planetarium and sensu. I really love sensu because it is soft yet powerful and in the first chorus where she sings "Aa, nikkori shita kaze yo yasashiku dakishimete" really sounds so heavenly! |

Shabondama is awesome in its darkness
Personally, I love the burst of 05.09 a.m. chorus. Really raw feeling ^^
I can't think of something else, I like most of her songs entirely so I don't often seperate their parts XD |

i love the guitar right after the first verse in friends ~sakaban version~. it just seems so nostalgic. in fact, the whole song sounds like something in the early 1990's |

To horizon180: Yes it is Sheena from Tales of Symphonia! Do you happen to be a fan of the game, too?
Anyway I also like Himawari because all of the words just seem to flow together throughout the entire song! |

am i fan or am i a fan! i spent all summer last year playing that game, every sidequest, every possible encounter, i do like the story, and especially the anime cut scenes. the op is awesome too. its def imo one of the best games out on the gamecube. hmm, we should start a thread about the game in the Games section on chai. Personally, I love Genis. He is the powerful mage without whom the entire party would never be able to beat the final boss. *yells "Gravity Well" hoping for a hige black sphere to crush intended target" lol i love that game. i love lloyd's dwarven father's english voice over "aye i am scottish" accent voice ^_^
ahem ahem
getting back to this thread... yey for shabondama! im glad other people enjoy the song too.

First chorus of "Cherish." I remember before that Love For Nana album came out, I heard that chorus in a short clip of the song, and I was hooked.
Also gotta mention the "yume kai" part of Happy Days, because I loved that. I even made an icon for my journal of it. Hehe. |
