I used Macromedia Fireworks to make my signature...I don't have Paintshop but I hear it's much better! I made my avatar using Microsoft Paint LOL! But it's just an image, no work was put into it hehe |

Well, it looks as if a lot of you use Photoshop, which is a very good piece of software, but not everyone can spend £200/300 just for the simple editing of some Otsuka Ai images, so I recommend GIMP, or GIMPshop (even more similar to Photoshop).
Forgetting about the name (Although clearly standing for "GNU Image Manipulation Program ;-) ), GIMP is a brilliant, Open Source (meaning Free) application which has many of the features included with Photoshop (it also takes up far less disc space than Photoshop, takes a matter of seconds to install, and also leaves your wallet full of cash).
If you want to try out The GIMP, get it from here:
If running Windows - http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gimp-2.2.17-i586-setup.exe?modtime=1184515052&big_mirror=0
If Running MacOSX - http://gimp.org/macintosh/
If Running Unix - http://gimp.org/unix/

Yush, I'm one of the many Photoshop CS2 users. But I got it for free. My mom works at a community college, and they gave her the program to practice with and combine with her CAD work. The stuff she does is soooo cool. But I'm just sittin here like all O_O and she's like 8D and she makes fun of my photoshop skills. But oh well. |

I use Photoshop CS2. My parents get huge discounts on software like this since they need it for work and things, and for this I am grateful. My current (kumuriuta) avatar was just a cropped screencap, though. |

I recently got Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Fireworks CS3 from my friend for free ^^
However...I got too used to the Fireworks layout and hence do not like Photoshop that much. I still need to learn how to use it but haven't got round to using it much yet. If there's something Fireworks CS3 cannot do, I try it with Photoshop (which it generally can do since it's more powerful at image editing) and yeah, that's about it...I have two programs to use ^^
