Ah that is so cool!! At first I was like 'yea, I dont get it.... it's just and animated gif that changes into a color picture...' and then I was like woah the image is actually black and white holy cow! lol  |

That's mad, reminds me of a Star Wars activity book I had years ago. There was this weird black and white blob picture you stared at for 30 seconds, then when you looked at wall you saw Darth Vadars face!  |

very cool! I think I may know how you did this...
when you stare at specific colors for awhile, your eyes get 'retina fatigue,' so when you suddenly stare at something else, you see the complements of the color you were first staring at. so maybe you inverted the colors in photoshop (or another program)? I don't remember if inverting colors gives the complement, though...
but it's physics, right? =) I only remembered because the color unit was one of the last units I studied before summer started. |

awesome! I like optical illusions, I finall what's gonna happen. Thank to zyzzyva I can get how it works a little bit, really interesting, I must show it to my friends.
But it make my eyes feel tired, need to rest for a quiet.

Wow, that was fun. If you try hard not to refocus your eyes after it switches, then it seems to stay permanently in colour. Nice little illusion  |
