Here's something quite interesting for all you fans, guess what it is? An optical illusion featuring Ai-chin, woo hoo! Aren't you excited? Well, I hope you are, anyway, follow my instructions and be amazed by the outcome!
Below is a specially made animated gif that will do some tricks to your eyes. What you need to do is stare at the black box near the middle of the image, wait patiently and see if anything happens. I'm not going to tell you what you're supposed to see, but I guess you'll get it if you follow my instruction and if you're not colour blind. Take note that the longer you stare at the black box, the better the effect, so try it a few times if you can't get it the first time. (you might want to start after the black and white image is shown)
I'll reveal the secret on how to make this optical illusion later. fyi, I learned this trick from some cool website. Lastly, here's the original image I used for this optical illusion. |

That's really cool eyn. I got really confused the second time the black and white image came up
Then I looked away from the little black box and it was back to normal. So strange.
I assume that's all there was......... it's not like if I stare for longer that Ai will come to life or something and start talking to me? |

I tried it once and I'm very positive that it worked out right. It's really funny how these illusion things work .

This is *so* great, eyn!
I remember doing my Science Fair project in sixth grade about this 'phenomenon', often referred to by the name of one of the most common examples of the eye 'trick', "The Bird in a Cage". Here's a short page with that example plus a brief explanation of what's going on.
Eto... I hope you don't mind me adding this info, eyn. I was surprised and delighted by your optical illusion image of featuring Ai. I've never seen such a complex version of this kind of image. It's so well done! Excellent choice of original photo, too. The balloons and flower in her hair really add to the impact of the 'trick'.
Can't wait to hear your explanation on making it! Hopefully we will be seeing more of them popping up around here soon after! |

| This is so neat! It's sort of weird how it all turned back to black and white as soon as I look away from the black dot position. It has something to do with the colour cones in the eyes, right? |

Whoa, that's cool! I was reading your post, and out of nowhere the picture changed to black & white. I thought, "uhh, is that the illusion?" LOL. When you try to look at the picture as a whole, the color seems to go away -- wah. Thanks for this!
This is a whole different subject, but it reminds me of this one picture of the "blue-eyed" girl that's suppose to change as you keep staring at it. Ever hear of it? Suppose to be spooky. |

| It kind of scared me when it popped up, I wasn't sure if it would be o.k. to scream or not, haha. Well, a wonderful image and I still don't get how it works but quite amazing at the least! |
