Oh, wow, this is awesome! I'm so jealous, I love it!! X3 The style's very clean-cut and cute, but also unique and artsy - very Ai. ♥
Where do you get your textures from? And what's the font you used on this? (Century Gothic? I think that's it... actually, I'm pretty certain that's it. XD) Oh, and you said you didn't use brushes on this - so are the flower things all in the textures?

hmm...it's been a while since this one.
thanks for the compliments.
You have quite an eye for font styles. It is century gothic; it's a font i've grown partial to actually. 
I don't use brushes anymore. Brushes used to my main tool back in the day. Then I got into reformatting my computer lots and lots and brushes sort of went bye bye. 
Nowadays I've resorted to falling back on a lot of textures/images/pictures I've shot with my camera and recoloring them or taking pieces of them and blending them together. I think the flowers in this one were, for the most part, stock images. I have done illustrations in the past but for this sort of thing I'm just tooooo lazy. Only some of the background elements were made from illustrations I did in the distant past.
Hopefully I'll get back to designing things this year! A New Year's resolution? maybe.  |
