Hey, I've been trying pretty much everything I can think of, and neither VLC nor MPlayer OSX can play the DVD on a Mac.

I have an way-past-its-prime Windows laptop, but I don't want to have to whip that out every time I want my Ai-chin fix! Mad

Can anyone help? I pray it's not a hardware issue...

HilaryDuffFanboy, your PC/laptop is region free? How did you get that because the limited time you change the region is really annoying. Sad

And q-pa, VLC should work. Have you checked if your pc is set to region 2?

I though I could only change it a set number (in my case, 4) times. The whole purpose of using VLC in the first place is that it's supposed to be able to playback DVDs regardless of region.

The DVD works on my old Windows laptop, so I know it's doable...

Edit: I believe HilaryDuffFanboy is referring to a standalone region-free DVD player (the kind that you plug into the TV). My college library had them.

I use a program called DVD Region + CSS Free, it gets rid of copy protection or region on the discs so any computer can play them. But I'm not sure if the program is available for a mac.

I am thinking of buying this on YesAsia and I was wondering if you guys think I still have a chance at the first pressing if I buy the Japanese DVD? I really want that booklet.

Also, for those having DVD player compatibility problems, your solution may be as easy as pressing a few buttons on your remote.

Go here and look up your DVD player model.

Mine works great. It plays any region, and both NTSC and PAL (although the NTSC/PAL has nothing to do with it being unlocked... either your DVD player can play PAL or not).

I would say no, because it was released nearly a month ago. And I just checked cdjapan, and they're out of first press.

If you really want to try and get a first press, you can order the Hong Kong versions.

I was trying to buy it today but YesAsia was being a pain and couldn't process my purchase. I tried it nearly 10 times too. Customer service told me they would forward my account info to IT to see if they can fix it.

I'm gonna get the Japanese version, booklet or not. I have this thing where I have to import music and movies from the country the album or movie was made in. Tongue

Could someone kindly translate the track list to the English titles? I know I can probably look them up on my own but it will take me a ridiculously long time, as I don't recognize her song titles in Japanese yet!

Thanks in advance!

translated titles are in the first post of this thread. Pocket was not included, as HilaryDuffFanboy mentioned.

When I read the setlist I thought it would be different from what would end up on DVD (I have seen DVD concerts like this). Thanks.

She gave it all she got you meant? I watched a few bits of the concert. Her performances are probably the best that I have heard from her. She's so energetic in live performances, that's what I love about her. Love She did Yumekui very well. Nod
