How good is LOVE COOK Tour 2006?

Well, now that the DVD is released, some people will be getting their DVD's soon, some will be downloading, and some will be buying the overseas version.
Before random comments about LOVE COOK Tour 2006 are spewed all over Channel-Ai, I decided that we may as well devote one thread to it the LOVE COOK Tour 2006, and not discuss it in the thread at Ai's News, which should be, news only, not opinionated chat. 
I'll update this post once I've watched the whole thing, but I previewed a bit more of the tour, and boy, boy oh boy, when she sings the chorus if 5:09am, take a look at those eyes... those eyes!!! They're ready to shock the whole of Osaka-Jo hall!! |

haven't seen the DVD T"T Godness ...
Oap~ But i think this Tour is good ^"^ Cuz ... i saw Ai-chin in the promotion video, cute xD But maybe a little old !?? |

I'll be getting the DVD in a day or two (or maybe today!). If anyone has the DVD yet, does it have any behind-the-scenes feature?
EDIT: I got it today... but I havn't watched it yet... |

Son_of_Sun, there's no back-stage clips on the DVD, but there's one short clip in 37sections, I don't even know what's it abt, like the camera man had a little of freetime before the show  so he went to some kind of a outside market and shoot random scenes and 2 two women, they're talking something here^^
I vote 5 star for this DVD, I just must watch it^^ There's another torrent on jpopsuki^^ this one small 1.6GB, I think more ppl will get this^ |

| yangirl: Yeah I saw that... I think it's strange that they have two PLAY ALL buttons with only like 30sec difference between them. There must be something else (like the eastereggs from last years tour DVD). |

yea hehe but its a lil below my expectation since they didnt sing some of the songs i like but yea she cant sing all of them =(... i just wish its longer !!
You cant, not watch this concert tho..... one of the best [ dont compare Ayumi lol always a bad comparisism lol ]
Next year would be better LOL needs to wait again !! i have never been that addicted and crazy over something for that long ^_^ Ai Otsuka have make me alot happier after so much things happen [ bad things !! ] 1 happy song is louder than a crowd. Everytime you feel down, play the concert and jump together with her, you'll feel alot better !! thats what i'll do from now on...i dont like to feel unhappy !! |

This tour is amazing. One of the best I've seen. I don't know where to begin.
The MC's were so awesome. I didn't understand anything she said, but she was so dorky and cute, and it's obvious she was more "herself" and more "open" when compared to the JAM PUNCH Tour.
5:09am is such a great opener. That chorus, I really can't get over it. The look in her eyes us just electrifying. I also just love it how she can bring B-side's to life, especially with drop., where she goes crazy around the stage in the 2nd half of the song.
Her piano solo's were nothing short of amazing. The Friends performance was brought to a climax with the accompanying violin, where as the alternate arrangement of Kingyo Hanabi was such a soothing piece to listen to... Daisuki da yo, as always, is such a pleasure to listen to, and even more so on the piano, nothing less can be said.
I LOVE her short shorts. They are so cute!! All these performances were so fun and hyper, especially SMILY, U-Boat which had lots of audience interaction and Pon Pon. I love the way she introduced her band, and how she had to ask HERSELF if she was ready. 
And then comes the part I was looking forward to most. The falling feathers was a great spectacle, and was heightened by a surprising (for me at least) acapella short of Haneari Tamago. Let me say, it takes a lot of guts for any artist to even dare and sing acapella, and I am proud of Otsuka Ai to do so. Haneari Tamago was a song I didn't like insanely well on the CD, but this performance is going down as one of my favourites from the tour. I really gotta give credit to the 30 piece orchestra, they did a wonderful job and certainly made me love it more.
Neko ni Fuusen was yet another awesome song with the strings. But in LOVE MUSiC, our Otsuka Ai fights back tears so hard, and it is she is putting all her emotion into it.  I also just love how she went on stage barefoot... it was just so cute....
And then for the crazy encore part. JAM PACKED FUN. Even Akanori-san shouting Happy Days instead couldn't bring it down. Ai-chin was obviously on a high and the crowd was as well. I LOVE her reaction and facial expressions before the 2nd time she sang Sakuranbo, she was so teasing, and she looked so lost and cute, OMG, this is why I love her!!!! I can't believe she sang it for a third time as well!! It must have been great to be there!
Random things to comment about, the "fireworks" bit in Planetarium was pulled off amazingly, I love that yellow beam shooting up the middle with a starry sky that fills the whole arena after.... and omg! In Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 680 yen, the guitarist in the blue checked shirt gets hit on by Otsuka Ai!! Her hands were feeling his thighs!!! omg!!! SO LUCKY!!!!!!! 
To conclude, this is one amazing tour, and I can't wait for my copy to arrive so I can watch in DVD quality. I really hope I somehow make it to the next tour. |

i gave into temptation and downloaded it :  (still gonna buy it though)
i thought it was kinda boring (the first half) compared to her last tour, but the second half was better than the other one, so overall, this is her best tour yet!!
anyone else found her keyboardist (im guessing Akanori?) really freaky?!?! |

| I give it 4 stars, I enjoyed it a lot but the previous dvd was better. "Friends" was the high point of the concert, it was so beautiful. |
