Like them? Think they make the series better sometimes? I really liked the "Kimi Wa Pet" drama because it had an ending ^^; (manga is still running!) I did notice that a lot are done not in Japan.
Maramalade Boy
Hana Yori Dango
Peach Girl
Tokyo Juliet
Hanazakari Kimitachi e (Hana-Kimi)
anyone know why that is? |

| Yes, I do like them. I don't read manga but the dramas are good. The style of Hanadan's drawing kind of annoyed me but the manga was good. Kurosagi was pretty good, too, except the manga was better since Tsurara was actually scared of getting runned over, lol. |

I have a question... Is Hana -Kimi a Japanese, Korean or Taiwanese Drama. Nowadays ... the other people just tend to copy Japanese mangas. No offense KDrama and TDrama fans. |

| Out of the ones you listed, only the live action version of 花より男子 Was aired in japan. thats was a real disappointment too, cuz i wanted to watch them after reading the plot, only to find they were aired in taiwan |

Hana-Kimi is actually a Taiwanese drama adapted from the manga Hanazakari Kimitachi e. So yep, not very original there, but hey I did still enjoy it! It's great that other countries are actually adapting from the comics to make a drama, it actually helps to raise awareness outside of Japan on these comics! So a plus point over here.
Haven't watched much of these dramas though, only Hana Yori Dango and Hana-Kimi. |

Hana Yori Dango is the only one that I've actually seen out of all those. I haven't managed to get my hands on the manga yet, but the style doesn't really suit my tastes. |

hmm... the only drama based on a manga i've seen is Great Teacher Onizuka. haven't seen that much of it, though. i found it kinda funny, cause imo the acting wasn't really top notch. but it was ok. i've seen some pieces of the NANA movie too. and then there's the Basilisk movie (Shinobi - Heart under Blade) which i enjoyed very much (Erika Sawajiri was in it! ) even though the story felt kinda rushed.
different ending too.
|
