Just realized (from your forum profiles) that both you and davedim are male.
I thought this height comparison thing was "restricted" to the females, but now that it's open I can say that I'm about 6 foot, which would be 183cm.

Hi everyone!
first of all THANKYOU so much Celsius005 ! 
your translations have helped so many of us understand Ai chin so much better
I recently visited Ai's site, and a new entry has been added - #58 - Tue 5th Dec

I feel sooo frustrated that Ms. Otsuka has something to say, and I just can't understand her !
I know Celsius005 might be seriously busy with his own life and things, which is why he hasn't updated this section in a while - I hope everything's OK
I've been learning Japanese on and off for a while, so I could give some of her diary entries a try, but I might not be able to a good job as Celsius005 did - my translations are usually pretty poor 
Anyway, I hope more of her diary entries get translated soon -
I can't help but like her more and more, the more I read these - such a beautiful soul...
(sigh)

i'm pretty short too....1.60 m, but that's becus i'm a girl, chinese and the most women in my family are short.
ai-chan is sow ......i dunno how to explain, but she is so blessed. i really love the way she writes and how she sees the life and world.

That last entry's just amazing. The images really came out at me, probably because the song was playing in the background and the video was playing in my mind. Amazing. I know Celsious005 is sort of on hiatus but I hope he gets a few minutes to translate the next entry. Take your time though, no pressure.  |

Hmm.. I actually wish I could be shorter! I think it would be fun being more compact. I stand at an average 166 cm.  It might be nice to stand out at 5'1. |

大塚 愛です。
そろそろ正月気分も終わりな感じで、一番苦手な時期にきました。
小さい頃から男の子ような生活をしてきたけど、最近やっと家庭的な女性の生活に落ち着いてきました。
昔から、初夢は覚えてないんやけど、１回自分の脳を見てみたいくらい、
はちゃめちゃな夢ばっかり見てます。
１回夢の中で仕事してて、次のシングルのタイトルをめっちゃ考えてて、
ぽーーーーーーん！！！！と浮かんだの。
これごっっつええわ！って夢で叫んでて、笑いまくってたら、笑いながら起きて若干気持ち悪かった‥。
そのままそのへんにあった紙にタイトルを書いてまた寝たの。
起きて、我に返ってその紙を見てなんじゃこら！
とくに面白くもなくすぐ没に（笑）
マジックで達筆に書いてあったんやけど、寝ぼけたあたしはかなり盛り上がってたみたいです、
タイトル 『遊びまくり』
どんな歌やねん！
没です‥‥。
そういえば、新しく入ったマネージャーの小林（おばやし（２６）B型の机に、よさげなシャンプーが置いてあったから聞いてみた。
愛ちん「これ、おばやしの？」
小林「はい、僕の‥です。ファンの方から送られてきた‥‥」
愛ちん「‥‥‥‥？」
ファンから送られてきたものはおばやしのものになっていた！！！（笑）
しかし取り戻しました‥‥みなさん安心してください♪

The absolute worst time has finally arrived--the end of New Year’s.
I’ve lived much like a boy when I was young, but I’m finally starting to live a woman’s life.
Since way back when I was having my first dreams (though I don’t remember much from then..)--as if I had seen my own brain--I’ve seen a bunch of nonsense.
I once had a dream that I was thinking so hard about a title for my new single, and BAM!
Something came floating up to the top of my head.
I cried out, “This is GREAT!” in my dream, and while I was laughing I woke up laughing just the same.
This is bad…
I grabbed the nearest piece of paper to write down the title, and I fell back to sleep.
I awoke the next morning to find the piece of paper I had written on that past night…“What the heck is this?!”
It wasn’t particularly amusing at the moment, so I threw it away. (laugh)
I had done something similar in a magic trick once, but I sure do come up with the most..interesting titles while sleeping.

What kind of song is that?!
Failure…
Which reminds me, my new manager Obayashi (26) was sitting at his second-rate desk and on it was a bottle of shampoo.
Ai-chin: [Is this yours?]
Obayashi: [Yeah, it’s…mine. It arrived in the fanmail…]
Ai-chin: […..…..?]
Oh no! He took my stuff!!! (laugh)
No worries, everyone…it’s been restored to its rightful owner♪ |
