It certainly becomes more interesting.I was thrilled and was thinking that even Channel-ai have it own radio. If there more types of radio,it may be better. And i don't know whether if that is possible cos i am kind of a computer nerd.Like
Station
CA"Channel-Ai' classic
*Meaning playing songs that are quite long ago like Zone,Do as Infinity that don't existed now.
CA"Channel-Ai" HITS
*Songs that is just released.
CA"Channel-Ai" Only Ai
*Playing songs of Ai old and new
*This is only my views and if i say or did anything stupid, please don't be offended and remind me to apologise for any silly things or mistakes i did. |

Nice suggestion RhNinjaXe, but honestly it will be pretty troublesome to create those playlist since I'll have to manually pick songs and categorize them by hand. fyi, right now the radio playlist is automatically generated using getID3 library and it just grabs every mp3 within specified directories to create the playlist. Also due to the nature of our blog folder arrangement, which each blog writer has their own folder, it's pretty hard to categorize songs.
So people is actually using the radio eh? I'm surprised! Anyway I fixed the problem, I just switched the Channel-Ai domain to PHP5 so there's some error in some of the scripts. |

What, you weren't expecting so many to use the radio? Tsk, tsk.
So anything uploaded into our bloggy folders is automatically added to the radio playlist? That's convenient! We can increase the library indefinitely. |

I notice that BOC's supernova and karma are in the radio, but for some reason they're both linked to the "Dear WOMAN" review. I didn't publish that BUMP OF CHICKEN article yet, but will the links fix themselves as soon as the article is published?
EDIT: Wait a minute. Would it by chance have anything to do with switching the Channel-Ai domain like you said above? I remember recently the chat had a problem so you changed it back to PHP4.x, but did this affect the Radio? Oh foofie. We gotta go with one or the other, huh? |

LinLin-Sama wrote: I want to upload more songs. Somebody please tell me how to. I think Channel-Ai's FTP is restricted to blog members only. While it does an excellent job to provide music, the radio also doubles as a door to introduce members to the community blog which offers a variety of articles for just about every song in the radio. I think eyn intends to keep it this way so people can listen to new music and have something to read as opposed to listening to a lot of songs without knowing any background about them.
However you're welcome to join the blog team if you want! |

LinLin-Sama if you want to become part of the blog, you can send eyn a PM and get things set up. If you use msn, you can skip the PM process and msn dirrectly. Which will probably be an easier way to reach him seeing how he's busy with school
About the gallery, how did you mess up? I checked and it looks like everything is in order |

Darn it again. Sorry, eyn, the articles linked to the BUMP OF CHICKEN songs in the radio need redirecting. Planetarium and Ginga Tetsudou shouldn't be linked to anything, but they will someday (hopefully )!
Thanks!
Ha, BOC's Planetarium single will receive a well-earned 5/5! |

Hmm... sorry for waking this long abandoned thread. I have a chance to use the Ch-Ai radio last week and became liking it a lot. The truth is I've never had any interest in the radio because my internet at home is not that fast and I have most of the songs I like in my HD so there's no need to torment my internet speed. But it happened to me last week that I had to study in the library. Boring to death...without anything to listen to (forgot to bring the MD player), I enter IMEEM, last.fm, hi5 etc. but the computer in the library can't play songs there.... So I wandered around and found Ch-Ai radio. It works!!!
The radio is nice. And the fact that it's the only one work for me then is sweet. I was about to suggest making a playlist... then I opened the radio just to have a look here in my computer...to my surprise, THERE really ARE playlists... -*- Guess it's the problem with the library's computers (they place many restrictions there, like no enter to MSN, WMP, or maybe some programmes like JAVA are not updated enough. don't know for sure). So...I can suggest nothing more. |
