I just received an artist alert from the US iTunes store, that some of Ai-chin's music is now available for sale. Still just 99c a song, and almost all of her albums (including some recent stuff):
Albums:
- Love Punch
- Love Cook
(no Love Jam?)
Singles:
- Sakuranbo
- Neko ni Fuusen
- Smily
- Planetarium
- Frenger
- Yumekui
Support Ai and all of the other J-pop artists on iTunes...especially since the price is right! |

I don't have an iPod, but you guys should buy it if you can.... or get your friends to do so. I know Ayumi's music has been available for a few weeks now on US iTunes.....
By the way, are the song titles in Japanese or Romaji? |

I just looked up Ai in the Music Store and all her song titles are in romaji.
This is really cool. I like how they're making more Jpop artists available to us on iTunes (for the people who don't live in Japan). |

Wow, this is good for Ai-chan; more exposure It is cheaper to import the albums from Japan, though... in Australia the IMS charges $2.00 a song |

All I have to say is, "It's about time!" Finally they're making music more accessible to people around the world. |

Agreed!
Just got another alert...added these EPs:
- Amaenbo
- Happy Days
- Momo no Hanabira (or "Momono Hanabira" ...they could at least get the sp right, no?)
- Kingyo Hanabi
If you want to get in on iTunes alerts for other artists that haven't been added yet, view the browser, select the genre "J-Pop." Check to see if their albums are already listed, and if not double click on the artist name and click "Alert me." |

| I have purchased Japanese songs from iTunes store many times! including Bonnie Pink and PUFFY and Garnet Crow, etc. Also I have purchased American music there too like Avril Lavigne albums and singles. I think this is a much cheaper way to purchase music than buy CDs in Japanese book stores in Los Angeles, CDs cost about $37.50 for album and $12.00 for single so I never buy single. Albums in iTunes store cost only $9.99 and singles cost only $.99 so I can save to my computer, put songs on my iPod, and make my own CDs for my car and save lots of money. |

I agree that we could save a lot of money purchasing songs on iTune but I'd like to have the CDs, it's very differen.
in addition, more items came, Frienger and Daisuki da yo are added. I wonder will it cost in her albums & singles sales if we purchase the item through iTune? And who will get the money, Apple or Avex? |

This is new business model for selling music in the world, we will all become used to this. Of course distribution and management companies get the money! Avex and Apple split, maybe a few pennies left for Otsuka... |

| THANK JESUS! I was wondering when I could actually buy some of her stuff! =D I'm glad they're bringing Japanese music into the US iTunes store, it'll help bring the culture here more and more people'll get into th music! =D (That sentence was grammatically incorrect in so many ways.) |

Great news! I was an abuser of free MP3's, but the quality isn't great at all. 99c a piece isn't bad at all, I'm planning buying all her songs available on iTunes. |
