Hi guys. I don't know if there are remixes of Ai-chin's music anywhere in this world but I'm really curious what genres of remixes would you like out of Ai-chin's songs. Well, for me, I would like planetarium to be remixed into trance and Smily to be remixed into Happy Hardcore. hehehe! Well, it's just my opinion though. Sorry if i've offended anyone about this.

PS: Maybe tell me the song titles and genres too and i might just do a remix of it. Tongue

To me, all those genres go into one title, "Dance" Any artists songs are good remixed, if done well. I voted "Happy Hardcore" Cuz Ai's songs are already happy, and if that happy if multiplied, it will give people seizures.

I like trance the best, I know this by comparing those different remixes album of Ayu. I think trance has some really nice sound, for example one of my favourite remix of Ayu is "M (Above & Beyond mix)".

I'm not sure if remix will work well for Ai-chin, but it will definitely be interesting to see remixes of her more upbeat songs. A "Tr-ai-nce" album will be nice lol. Laughing

Here's the "Happy Days" and "Sakuranbo" happy hardcore mix for those who are relatively new to Ai (these are not official release, but done by some random Japanese DJ): link

I actually don't like the general vibe of those musical choices. Personally I'd like to here her just do a stripped down unmastered acoustic version of her songs; that'd make me the happiest. That and as and_etude said orchestral takes on songs is always amazing and powerful.

Yeah, I guess your right actually but what would you call what I'm talking about? It's not a cover, maybe just an alternative version. Anyways, if I had to make a choice I'd probably have to go with house, but I like my Ai-chin the way she is. Grin

I would choose one. But I lack knowledge when it comes to remixes. What do they all mean? Confused >.<

perhaps, these genres might be too alien to you guys...

well, for some idea on what electronic music genres there are, go to http://www.di.fm to check out the radio stations.

Jester: erm, i think maybe the term for it should be version. eg. "momo no hanabira (studio orchestra version)" Well i'm not so sure though because i love eletronic music and ai-chin's music. heheh!

Trance *_*
*could imagine ai-chin as trance mixes very well*
And "Planetarium Trance mix" sounds very interesting to me <3

But I prefer acoustic and orchestra versions...
