Haha, I can just imagine a channel-ai tour of Japan! I think that I will go and see Ai-chan's concert next time I am in Japan, which should be some time in the next year or two. I hope that I can time my trip so that it coincides with a concert, although getting tickets would be hard, because the lines are always long wherever the concert is :'( |

| Yay! I will be in Japan during Otsuka tour! My plan = second week of May, maybe a little longer, visit my relatives in Yamaguchi Prefecture, third and fourth week of May in Tokyo, visit my new friends I met on train to Texas last year! I will be Tokyo during this tour! I can attend concert! If I attend I will try to talk with Otsuka, okay? and I will tell what she says to worldwide fans! if I can understand, because my Japanese is pretty bad, maybe worse than my English. I have no native language! |

hey~ I just had a thought
maybe we can try to invite Ai-chin to the country we live in, like through an anime convention or music award ceremony?
Last year Anime North invited KOTOKO, I believe she's not as mainstream as Otsuka Ai but she's still pretty popular. I brought this up to make it seem less hopeless to invite Ai-chin here >.< ..... |

I would love that. But everyone's just asking for her to come to their country. Which country is she gonna go to?!?!?! But I would still love to meet her, she is a really beautiful girl and this wish will never go away. Believe it. |

| I'm actually related to one actress in Japan and although it's fun to dream that I could somehow use this to my advantage and meet Otsuka Ai, i don't think she's anywhere near the same high profile celebrity as Ai is, plus it'd be really dirty for me to use a family member just for that sooo...I'll put that thought out of my mind once and for all...I'm such a terrible person.. |

Nope, but wouldn't it be the most awesome thing to just see her in real life? and talk to her.... someday I'll go to Japan and perhaps i will be able to at least just look at her in a concert! |

Seeing Ai in concert is my dream. Meeting her sounds too good to be true. I don't even know if I'd be able to talk to her. I know some basic Japanese, but I'd probably take one look at her smile and just stand there with a dreamy look on my face or something.
I've thought about what it would be like to meet her so many times.. Most of the time I imagine asking her for a hug, but I'd be way too bashful to actually do it. It seems to work for fangirls at anime conventions when they ask the guys, but I'm just some guy and would probably creep her out. I'd probably just blush and tell her how much I admire her.
I think my boy would love to meet her too. He's 2 1/2 and she's his favorite singer. If he saw her, I'm pretty sure he'd point and yell "That's Ai, daddy! That's Ai!!!" |

Yeah, it would be sooo incredibly awesome if all of us Ai-chan fans here from channel-ai would come together in a group and decide to travel to Japan, just to watch Ai-chan live in cocert. That would be amazing, ne!
To +Fumi, WoW! You're going to Japan pretty soon!? Sugoi! I'm so jealous. Yes, please do your best to try to talk to Ai-chan in person, and tell her about her worldwide fans her from channel-ai. I wonder if Ai-chan knows about this forum/website. If she doesn't, please give her the address to this website so that she will know how much we all love her very much, here from channel-ai. |

wooooo
it would be really awesome for the ch-ai memebers to attend her tour together
as for those who are worrying about communication....
you really only need to learn how to read the kanas....Japan has a lot of things written in katakana
Not so long ago, I went to Japan (for the last day of 2007!! woohoo! haha) and the deal was I had to plan the trip and find the JR routs and stuff....
Boy, was I panic...I got depressed because I didn't managed to finish the entire 9 days trip plan but once you get there it's not so much panicking any more....
Just relax...Japanese people are really polite and nice...and their environment is SO clean
They don't have trash bins...in fact I find them difficult to find one....lol but it's just really clean and everyone actually LINE UP for getting on the bus ... |
