I know there must be some people who play this game. One of the best combat games ever in my opinion. I'm known to be a crazy Smash player who can almost own anyone with almost every character (with the exception of Pichu >.<"). Also, I can't wait for Super Smash Bros. on the Brawl. A lot of new things coming up on there. What do you guys think? |

Oh, you just did *not* mention SSB. You did so I guess I'll share my few cents worth on this game.
Well...
There was a time when I would play this game a lot with a bunch of other guys in my middle school, but I don't really care much for videogames anymore so I stopped rather abruptly. I was always a Fox player on both the N64 and GC versions and would regularly annihilate everyone. I don't know about now, however..
I think if I pick up Melee right now, I could at least expunge 3 LV9 AI opponents on a 1vs3 stock match. Perhaps arrogance makes me say this, and, lo and behold, I'll probably lose. |

I still make time for this game. Every Tuesday that guys come over to play a few rounds. It's a fairly casual atmosphere. I'm an ex-Fox user turned Falco even though he's a second tier fighter. I just love his short hop aerials and laser, not to mention having the best spike in the game.
I'm really excited for Brawl too; I'm not getting a Wii right away because school's pickin' up the pace and I have to keep up but my friends are getting them and we're planning to have a first time Wii play-a-thon this Wednesday. I'm excited!
Anyways, what do you guys think about the new Fox? Personally, I think he's awesome, but my Fox using friend says he could've looked cooler but he appreciates the non-stationary stance; says it makes him look like a martial artist. |

oooh! i love this game! i don't own it but i used to play regularly with my friends a bunch last year. we still do now but mostly just on weekends.
i am not very good. mostly i use jigglypuff and stay outside the fight and run into the middle to fire off a down+B combo and hope i kill someone. actually lately i've been trying to fight with jigglypuff instead of popping people. (how me and my friends refer to killing people with instant one hits, like jigglypuff's down+B)
although...usually it is a very fun atmosphere. but i've noticed smash can make people really pissed. (not me, i know i suck and i don't mind getting owned everytime) but quite a few of my friends already have had bad smash days and stormed out of the room or started cussing. or me and my friend would double team against the best guy and he'd be visibly unhappy and stop playing faster. so yeah, not the most peaceful game, but definitely a lot of fun with friends. |

I can win with almost every character! My favourites are Fox and Mario. It's good to see they're back on Brawl! |

| Yeah, whenever me and my friends come over we do random character, random stages, so we've all got pretty good with everyone but everyone still has their favourites. Personally I do the best with Falco, Marth, and Shiek. But I have the most fun playing as Game & Watch, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong. |

This has to be one of the funnest games out there. One of the funnest multiplayer games. I remember playing the N64 one *and also owning it, but sold it, stupid me * A friend and I would be playing the game for days, it's so addicting and fun.
In the Gamecube version they made a huge improvement, adding so many new characters and alod of new stages. My fav. stage has to be the F-zero stage. My characters that i love are Dr. Mario, Samus, and Roy.
The new fox? I didn't really notice anyting different about Fox. =p Hopefully all the characters will have a new talent, that'd be awesome. I can't wait any longer for SSBB, it's going to be online too. Hopefuly some of us will be able to battle eachother online. |

I know what you mean. Some of the other people here sound pretty confident with their ownage of anyone. I kind of want to see how I stack up. I'd also like to to be able to call up my buddies and go "Yo, be on at nine and we'll brawl." That'd be awesome! |

Yeah! Brawl's going to be alright. But the controller, to be honest, I wished they sticked with the Gamecube controller. I hope my skills are still "here and there" if I get the game or not. I can't wait for the new Fox, I'm a veteran Fox player. I always use the items to my advantage. I love the capsules! |

Im surprised someone even made a thread of super smash bros on this site!
I am addicted to Super smash bros melee, mostly because i just got a Game-
Cube. I play alot and it never grows old for some reason. I was 'cursed' with being
and played as pichu because he was fast...and cute . I think that they confirmed
that Super smash bros Brawl will playable with the Gamecube remote. |

Woah, i dont think i am that good in SSBM; I usually play by myself. But
the thing that i am currently doing is trying to beat All-Star mode on very hard
without dieing. The player that i most use for that is Marth . I like his taunt, its
like: "Minna mitete kure" hopefully i spelled that right. Does anyone know
what it means? I know what 'minna' means ("everyone" in japanese) but dont know the
rest. |
