There is a song call HimawaRi in Ai's first single Momo no hanabira
and in the request thread, you guys mention about Sakuranbo (HimawaRi ver.), a song Ai sang in her previous group .... it make me confused .... there is nothing similar between the two songs ... why we call the first version of sakuranbo is himawari wersion ???? |

The reason why it's called HimawaRi version is because that's the group's name which sang the song. Ai together with another girl form this amateur singing group called HimawaRi, which translate as "Sunflower". Thus, the Sakuranbo sang by this group is naturally called "HimawaRi ver." compare to the Sakuranbo single Ai released afterwards.
Himawari, the song from Momo no Hanabira, is just a name Ai give to one of her songs. There might be some connection between the group "HimawaRi" and the song, but I don't know much about that. It might be a tribute for her former duet group, I'm not too sure.

| the other friend of Ai have quit the band to work or probably join another recording company.. im not sure abt that.. there isn't any news abt them.. probably they put it as private and confidential |

the other girls names is Nishita Mami..i dont think i know her as a singer, and im bored to google her lol
ai was only 15 years old then..their unexperience and the fact that they were just an indies band didn bring promotion and success to sakuranbo
her song himawari is more likely a tribute to her old band
i kinda like a lot that their sakuranbo didnt go well though ais did..u know, the other girl gave up so easily but ai continued trying at music and finally got in avex and released their old song..its a payback for her hard tries |

Wow that is very interesting. I didn't know she was in a J-indie band before hitting it big doing solo. That news to me! |

theres not any other known song by them wandering the weby |
