what's your braces situation?

had 'em and i'm done! now i'm stuck with this crummy retainer...

Omg, Braces. How I hated them. They were such a pain when you had to floss and even more of a pain when you got them tightened (Then the next day you wanted to eat, but you couldn't even bite down on the food without a lot of pain) Arrrgh! Mad Now I'm stuck with this horrible retainer that makes me talk with a lisp. Grrrr! (End rant about braces)

Anyways, yea, for some reason, the people in the US are obsessed with white, straight teeth. I don't know why, it's just something that we just kinda accept as "good" here. My parents made me get braces and also bought me some whitener for my teeth (Which really hurt btw :0 ) Anyways, personally I don't care about whether teeth are straight or not. Smile

haha, well, i have to point out again, that taking care of your teeth has nothing to do with if you have gaps or not. that's genetic. you can't do anything about it. except for have braces Blank stare
like, i take so good care of my dental hygiene that it makes my friends sick Laughing but i still had a gap in between my two front teeth Crying course, it's gone now, but i had to live with it until the 7th grade Sneeze
the only cool thing was that i could make a little fountain of water by squirting it out through the gap Laughing

im lucky my teeth arent crooked so there's no need for any braces, but that doesnt mean i have perfect teeth Laughing and mine are pretty white too!

haha never will! the only argument my teeth and I have are how discolored they are bleeehh. Mad

BUT I think braces are pretty cute! not saying they're right for everyone but guys and girls with braces I think are really cute Love Tongue

heh, reading back this thread is absolutely hilarious, anyway I've never had braces and never will. I've only ever been to the dentist once in my life as well, and I didn't need to go that one time either Laughing

Maybe you're from a different Australia ne? I've known plenty of people who have had braces heh heh, Maybe braces are a lot less noticeable now then what they used to be. But anyway Koda is right, the girls with braces always were really cute Love Tongue

I have braces. They actually not that bad, sometimes they are pretty annoying but i can live with them Tongue . But sometimes I have horrible toothaches because my orthodontist has to adjust them from time to time Sneeze .
