第48回日本レコード大賞 (The 48th Japan Record Awards)
Gold Prize Winners:
「ブギウギ66」 (Boogiewoogie 66) - w-inds.
「恋愛写真」 (Renai Shashin) - 大塚愛 (Otsuka Ai)
「夢のうた」 (Yume no Uta) - 倖田来未 (Koda Kumi)
「君という名の翼」 (Kimi toiu Na no Tsubasa) - コブクロ (Kobukuro)
「ボクノート」 (Boku Note) - スキマスイッチ (Sukima Switch)
「Fly High」 - 中ノ森BAND (Nakanomori BAND)
「一剣」 (Ikken) - 氷川きよし (Hikawa Kiyoshi)
「Winter Love」 - BoA
「熊野古道」 (Kuma no Kodo) - 水森かおり (Mizumori Kaori)
「気分上々↑↑」 (Kibun Jojo↑↑) - mihimaru GT
These 10 songs will be competing for the GRAND PRIZE
Also to be annouced at the ceremony itself is BEST SINGER.
The ceremony will be held on December 30th 2006 starting from 6.30 pm, and will be a live telecast on Japan's TBS channel.

I have to say it's an interesting list there. And I also must say all these awards shows are confusing the heck out of me.
So there was Best Artist Awards a week ago, Japan Record Awards in 4 weeks, and Gold Disk Awards around March next year. Any more? |

shoot, im between a rock and a hard place. i like 恋愛写真 but 夢の歌 is really good, and how she dies at the end is so sad.
well, i ll be happy if either wins!

I see so many j-walker every day, it's not even funny any more. Sometimes people in Canada take it for granted about how pedestrians always have the right of way
Anyway, that's my little rant of the day. Now back on topic! I'm rooting for Ai, but I have a gut feeling that Kumi will win this round. |
