History:
Kitade Nana won the Sony Music Audition in 2002. The next year, she graduated from Hokkaido University of Education (attached to Sapporo junior high school) and came up to Tokyo at term. On October 29, 2003, she debuted as a singer with the single Kesenai Tsumi, which was used as the first closing theme song of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. Two days later, she appeared on the NHK TV program POP JAM.
She will be one of the musical guests at Otakon 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. Her album 18 -eighteen- will also be released in the United States by Tofu Records on July 11th, 2006 with the bonus track "KISS or KISS (English Version)" from her SLAVE of KISS single.
Beginning April 27th, 2006, Nana released 13 singles in a row. These are available for exclusive cell phone downloads for 100yen each, with a theme of "7". Each single was released on the 7th, 17th, or 27th of each month until August 27th, 2006. Some songs are covers, while others are new.

Got back into listening to her music yesterday after listening to her new album "I scream"
Favorite tracks are 「撃たれる雨」「悲しみのキズ」「希望のカケラ」。

i listen to nana!!!
her voice is a little strange but i've really enjoyed it anyway. and her songs are pretty nice and she writes the lyrics and she looks sort of cool sometimes with her guitar.
nana was actually my first true favorite j-pop artist. back in the days of FMA, nana became my favorite artist and held that post for nearly half a year before younha stripped her of that title and she's never been able to re-take it.
actually to be honest more lately i've been losing interest in nana pretty fast. her new music sounds strangely different for me. only her first two singles were truly amazing for me. and her fashion style has been something i've never really liked...probably why i've not re-watched her PVs as much as many of my other favorite artists. i agree every artist should be wonderful and unique and i'm fine that this is nana's style but it's a little off from what i prefer so i must accept our differences and maybe understand i must walk a different path from nana from now on.
but i still listen to her fairly regularly. like i said her really old stuff is what i really liked.
「消せない罪」「遺留品」「瞬間」「泡沫」and not as old but i also like it a lot...「Alice」...anyway i'll listen to almost any of her songs.
so it appears i've been pretty out of touch with nana lately. i did not realize her album was leaked already, nor have i seen the cover before i noticed this thread. but at least the album's release date was on my mind!
maybe i can share some nana stuffs this week. not now though, i'm not feeling like uploading anything right now.
del you've excellent choice in music! since i've been here you've started both jyukai and nana kitade threads! yayayaya! the thought of making a nana kitade thread here crossed my mind today but i've been pretty lazy lately so i didn't do it.
PS del, how do you make these characters...「」?...i copy and pasted from you but i don't know how to type them on my computer. |

I will probably be making more in the next few days/weeks, only problem is I cant really upload that much due to NZ ISP's having crap upload speeds on virtually all their plans..
Her voice is really unique which is a plus and 「撃たれる雨」 is one of those tracks were her voice really stands out..
Her change to gothic lolita sort of put me off (I swear she looks like a doll in her a couple of her PVs) Although I like the fashion, the whole doll thing is sort of creepy..
It's wierd how I find most of my favorite artists, I'm one of those who judges a book by its cover ><.. but heck it led me to 樹海 and 北出菜奈 so I'm not complaining...
「」 to make those characters just change your input to Japanese and do brackets

i've yet to finish listening to it. all the songs from her previous releases that are on it are fairly good, in my opinion.
of all the new songs so far my favorite is 「innocent world」...already heard it about 3 or 4 times today and it has a really nice melody to it. overall it is a fair album but personally i preferred her first album, probably because i have more interest in her older music. but give it a listen madgirl and decide for yourself. |

I really like Nana <3
She's a cute and beautiful girl and her voice sounds sweet, I really like it.
Oh! And the KISS PV is awesome... she's like a beautiful doll and I always want to keep her with me when I'm watching it 
I SCREAM is a "funny title at second sight", huh? In addition to the cover art it really is, I think. (But when I first read the title without the cover I thought 'Huh? What's this`? ;_;') |

I finally listened to "I Scream" the other day and I have to say that I like it a lot better than her debut album. You can tell her voice has matured a bit since then. It's really a great album.  |

the first song i heard is kiss or kiss, then utaeru ame, etc

She's always been really pretty...
but I think she looks best with this loli-style 
The first song I've heard was KISS...
and it's probably cause of it that it's my favorite

I prefer everything before 「SLAVE of KISS」 although I do like 「希望のカケラ」
I liked her goth loli style in 「SLAVE of KISS」 but 「希望のカケラ」 went a bit overboard. However, I do love the animal suits in the PV.

| i do not know, i am largely turned off towards her music videos. only 「pureness」 and 「alice」 do i really watch very much. i can't explain much why either. but as del pointed out...the animal suits in 「希望のカケラ」 were just awesome. reminder to self to make some nana uploads after my tests are over. by the way i also like the cover of 「I scream」, it is really cool. |
