i just started to listen to Yuna Ito the other day (watched the making of ENDLESS STORY from the NANA movie) and was really impressed by her english... until i heard that she was an american. 
i really like ENDLESS STORY (got huge goose bumps from that one...). and her other songs are really good to. but i don't like losin'. don't like that style...
looking forward to her album in january.  |

yup, i've heard "Truth". it's good, but i don't get the same majestic feeling as from "ENDLESS STORY". but i guess you get a better impression from it if you watch the movie.
i find the end of "stuck on you" kind of weird....
"yeah, he is bad... i know, i know he's bad for me, but... alright... ok, i'll try... NOT!"
i just think it's a strange way to end a song, it's weird and funny.
and her reasoning seems a little off: why would you love somebody that's bad for you? 
yeah, i guess i can be impressed by her japanese, but she's half japanese too, so... |

I actually thought that ending was kind of cute. The whole song was basically about having a crush and her friends think it's bad for her. Kind of truthful that you're not going to get over a crush because of what your friends say, you know? It seemed like the beginning and the end were kind of like a telephone call, yes?
Oh well, it was cute to see something different from her.
I do love her ballads, though. |

I love her music ^-^
the first song I heard was (of course XD) "ENDLESS STORY"...it's a great song, but I do love "JOURNEY" even more
that song sure impressed me...yuna's voice is amazing and the atmosphere of the song is awesome...really really adorable song!! I would recommend it to everyone who wants to try out yuna!! 
I think that "secrets" were a bit weak...it sounds so plain...didn't leave any impression on me...
"pureyes" and "I'm free" are quite nice...poppy and sweet ^__^~
"precious" is a beautiful ballad, although it sounds a bit...don't know...just like the average-ballad...but then, it's still yuna and her voice is great...nonetheless, I think the PV for this wasn't good...far too plain in my opinion... 
but her newer songs are great again, I like "truth" very much~ 
and the PV for "losin'" is sooo great!! yuna's so beautiful, yet also sexy in it...I was so surprised and stunned, when I saw it the first time
and the song is cool, too~ 
"stuck on you" also is cute and "these boots are made for walking" is quite a good cover
what else...?
eh...ah! "stuck on you" PV is totally kawaii!! I loooove how she screams 'nooot' in the end..absolutely cute!! 
and what madgirlslovesong said about phone call...in fact she really IS on the phone in the PV at the beginning and end ^.^
however I think the end of the PV is a bit mysterious...because she touches this mirror and seems to fall into it and then there's a screen with "to be continued"...and I thought that the forest in the mirror looked a bit like the forest she's dancing in throughout "losin'" PV 
so, I think there's a link between these two songs 
does anyone know something about it?
I think that's about it for now...
if there's interest I could upload "losin'", "Faith" and "stuck on you"...I also have all of her songs except remixes and "stay for love" (b-side of losin')..so if anyone wants something, just go ahead and tell me  |

Stuck on you and losin' were both limited edition singles. She wanted to try something different. If you look at the covers you can see how similar they are. (The theme for stuck on you was "hot" and the theme for losin' was "cool.") They were kind of like a set, so I'm sure the PVs probably go together. (I haven't seen them yet.)
Ohh. I have all the b-sides to her singles if you want them. It'll take me a bit to upload them, I'm on dial-up at the moment, but I have no problem doing it for you! |

I already thought, that losin' and stuck on you are linked...because of the PVs and because of the covers
but I didn't know the thing about their themes, it's very interesting
and I think that she reached her goal of doing something different...I think she did it good, too |

however..the song's strange...while the others were trying out new styles and were good, this one is new style, but doesn't suit yuna, I think...
so far, I think it's her worst song, ne?
what do you think about it? ._.
if you would like to recommend a remix, go ahead...but I don't like techno-like remixes, so probably not...? 
I'll upload stuck on you and losin' PV for you, but I'll do it tomorrow, because I'm so tired and hungry...I just wanna go to bed right now and uploading the PVs would take too long for now

Hmm. So you don't like the typical remixes, eh?
(I love remixes! I think they should be included on every single. )
Well, you might like:
These boots are made for walkin' -STUDIO APARTMENT Impulse Groove-
It's basically a slower version of the single track. It's got completely different music, too. It's not techno at all, in my opinion. Then again, it kind of has a bit of the same feel as Stay For Love, minus the heavy beat, so I don't know if you'll love it. It's interesting to listen to none the less.
Stay For Love was pretty good. I really loved the beat to it. It's not her best, and not my favorite song by far, though. I tend to prefer her ballads. The rest is really like a nice added bonus.
Take your time on the pvs! I've lived this long without them, I think I can wait a while longer. If it's OK, when you get done uploading them, I'd like to edit the first post and add your links there. I figured I could start pooling some download links into the introduction/profile post so that people who haven't heard of her can listen to her music.
Any ideas on songs that you think would be a good starter song for someone who's never heard her? |

they got all except losin'. so i guess i'll get them sometime, maybe tomorrow.
