hi everybody! i'm kinda new here and such (though some might recognize me from last.fm). yoroshiku onegashimasu! Giggle i've looked through some really interesting stuff on this forum, and when i read the SMILY t-shirt thread, i just had to do this.

i'm not that experienced with making t-shirts, so maybe somebody could give some tips how to do?

i already posted this in the SMILY t-shirt thread in Ai's News, but i suppose it wouldn't get that much attention there, so i made a new thread.

edit by eyn: It's not that necessary to create different thread just to get attention. Anyway, try to use imageshack next time, photobucket is sort of banned here, read the rules to know more. Wink

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people like me who couldn't buy her t-shirt even if they wanted to -
just soo expensive Crying

sorry, I don't know too much about t-shirts myself, but I think its fairly simple to do
I'm sure Google can help us out

I think you could probably get the design printed from an online store or some sort of shop in town.

Get it Silk Screened or Screen Printed or Digitally Printed. (Whatever you want to call the process!) That way you wouldn't have the problems of an iron-on.

Check out this website that I found. Not sure if they're reliable, but it's still pretty neat. You can design your own t-shirts basically.

I also found a detailed tutorial on LJ that's completely DIY.

I love your design, though! I might try to do something with it if I get some money to do it. I've always wanted a SMILY shirt. Love

yeah, it's probably best to get it done properly by someone who's got the right stuff to do it, though it might cost a bit. but i'll check out ways to do it by my self a little longer first. (haven't got the time right now, though.... a lot of exams next week...)

i don't really know about any T-Shirt printing stores in sweden. but over here in Singapore, its rather easy to get what you want to print on a T-Shirt easily done. it costs about SGD$20 to SGD$30 depending on how many details and colors you want. =X i guess you have to search online to get sources on where to print those designs on a T-Shirt ^^, oh and Thanks you very very much for sharing those Smily Images! i guess i might even print it out in a few days ! haha

i was sitting on my crappy computer using word, paint and and old and malfunctioning version of photoshop that kept shutting down every other minute (REALLY irritating). i looked up a good font and started meassuring and such. i had to change some parts of the letters for it to look good, though. and the small text font on the front is wrong (looked at the PV and saw that).

if you want to post these at other forums, be my guest, but be sure to credit me. Wink

This is a very cool idea! I've always wanted a SMILY t-shirt too. ZeroKenshin, do tell me if you get it printed and where, because most of the places I know of only print t-shirts in bulk, and I have no need for 20 SMILY t-shirts, despite how much I like them Tongue I might try DIY-ing it too, but I'm afraid the results would only turn out to be disastrous. Tongue

nah you shouldn't feel stupid. a lot of the time...doing a project like this makes me feel skillful and makes me feel like i learned something. that is if i don't abandon it halfway like i so often do. so be happy about your creation.
