I've have seen some fans compiling various PV together and made it into a DVD format, so when you burn the files together you can treat it like a normal DVD with the DVD menus and the whole works.

Does anyone know a program or codes that allow you to combine these kind of DVDs? Or maybe an online tutorial/guide?

it sounds like you are talking about DVD Authoring.

some versions of Nero have a program called NeroVision Express which allows you to set up a menu and play videos that it converts into DVD format.

my sony laptop came bundled with Sony's Click To DVD which makes the whole process super-simple but is also super-inflexible. Roxio Easy Media Creator is another one i have used and it has 2 ways to do it. but i think Nero is the easiest and best.

doom9 has open source (free) software to author DVDs but i dont know how easy it is to use any of it.

Ummm if what you have is .AVI files, you'll need a program like Avi2Dvd to convert them into a playable DVD.

I don't really suggest doing that since you'll notice how crappy the quality of AVI files are one you watch them on a TV/big screen.

If you have .VOB files, then you can use VOBedit to "fix" them for a standard DVD size/name first, then use IFOedit to get the .BUP and .IFO files that are required for a working DVD; after that you can just burn all the files using Nero or similar software.

It's best to only burn DVDs with VOB files since you'll get the loseless quality you would like. Smile

I'm not sure about menus since I usually do not make menus for DVDs I compile.

The above is very brief so if you have questions or anything feel free to PM me. Smile

Old topic I know but it might help someone later on....

Look for ConvertXtoDVD. It's really simple but makes great DVDs, you can even add subtitles if you want (I've used it for making JDrama DVD's). It will convert from lots of formats including .avi etc.

I tried a LOT of different converters, DVD authoring programs etc and this the best if you don't want to mess around.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone Love I'm in the middle of the semester, so I don't have time to test out the programs until end of April. But I'll keep you all posted on the outcome!
