Imported DVD problems

For those who are experts in this field, HELP ME! Crying I don't really know which section to put it, but this might be a problem that many have probably encountered when buying a CD/DVD single from Japan. Anyways I just got the Smily CD/DVD and it requires Regional 2 DVD players. Is there anyway in enabling my CD-DVD player to play it in Regional 2. Whoever can answer this I am forever greatful!! Love

i don't think u can like .. "MAKE IT" play other regional dvds. gotta buy a dvd player that can read all regions. I think they sell one at yesasia for like 70 bucks at cheapest

Mad Thats what I was afraid of. I was hoping there would be like a codec on the net or something.

There's a way to get around it without having an all region dvd player. You need a computer with a DVD-ROM and some special ingredient and you'll have the DVD working in no time.
