Koda Kumi is.... Errgh... For some reason, I feel that she's "westernizing" J-music. It may sound radical, but all her dirty dancing, clubbing, "bling" it seems all too familiar =P.

| I'm glad she ranked pretty high up, and on the list I only recognize Nakashima Mika as a singer who sounds similar to Ai, so yay for Ai! I dunno the 2nd and 3rd rankers, so meh |

thanks for the info. firstly congrats to ai-chin for being the top 8 best selling artist of 2006. im sure she deserves the position very much, if not higher. but i find the difference between ai-chin's and kumi's sales figures very shocking! 
hmm...remioromen is in 9th place. this is interesting. |
