apparently i have a special spyware trojan thing that gets all my info and carries it off to a site, so im trying to limit all info about me. so i didnt delete my canadian marker, just made it really simple. im in the midst of rmeoving this spyware now, but i m not going take anymore chances.

ahhh yes.
Something like that happened to me before.
I got TONS of popups. And the whole system went kinda crazy.
And I got stupid spam e-mails. But my cousin fixed it for me.
I'm not really sure what he did..but I know he just removed everything from my C drive.
arghh I forgot what is should be called. Confused
You should do that.

I still get those emails...but they go into the spam box.
But I never open them. Delet em` all! Mad

Spyware is evil and annoying. I apologize for making this tread even more off topic but Spybots is a good program to have to blog spyware and if you own a PC, reformatting your PC once a month or at least once ever three months (if you're lazy like me) would be good. Reformatting means you delete everything in your C drive and re-installing all the necessary programs you use. It's an absolute pain but there's constant patches up for download every few months because some bored person has found a loophole in the system and wants to wreck havoc on your computer =(

I've added myself in. Incredible! With the satellite I was just "OMG! ". But though I put my postal code, my marker is right near Kremlin... As if I'm Putin or some minister. Ha! Russian power don't shoot me! XD

I might be a little bit OT but itīs kinda foolish to do this. Itīs same as to build few shops selling the same stuff next to each other. Thereīll be never-ending rivalry between them. So I suggest to have just one anti-virus and anti-spyware at the same time.
Formating your hard-disk might not be the only way to figure out your problem. You have to decide how big is the problem and if itīs not a major problem which rapidly affects PC and data you should formate it. Otherwise you can just re-install your system with your data keeped on the hard-disk.
Iīve got few problems with spyware, malware etc. and it was never necessary to formate.
And to your question: Itīs quite easy with Norton, but you can experience some problem with the internet if youīre a member of a network.

Sorry for the double post

Yes finally I ''put myself'' into this map, and of course I vote for Whee, but after the voting result appear in my laptop's screen, I'm surprice to found that there are 2% of Boo has been voted.

For me, this map is a funny, interesting and meaningful. Not only for fun, beside that it can find out where our forum's members from, and know each other more through this map. So I'm happy to join this.

Nice one! I'm on as well.

I wish google would update their satellite photos, the one of my house is a good few years old now - they're still building the bridge for the Euro rail link Tongue

I'm going to look at everyone's places now (I'm at work, it's v boring......)
Actually, I do find things like this interesting. When I visit other countries I always find myself noticing the differences in normal everyday life stuff, like traffice lights, refuse bins, taxis, vending machines, road works etc etc.
Perhaps I'm just a wierdy beardy?!.. Shifty

Haha, does my marker smell or something? I'm all alone in the Canadian prairies and there's a nice perimeter around me. Strange...
