So I've decided to consolidate all my graphics threads into one, in order to avoid cluttering up the forum (I hope this is alright, eyn! Let me know if it's not, and I'll go back to doing it the way I did before )
You're welcome to use any of these for MSN or other forums or whatever, as long as you don't alter them, and you give me credit when possible (obviously, you can't credit on MSN and similar programs). Oh, and I'd love to know if you're going to use them, just so I know they're actually being used
I suppose I'll start with the new stuff (with some old sets and such thrown in):
Sets:

Wallpapers (newest added 2/3/07):
And I left off the thumbnails for the old wallpapers for the sake of saving loading time...if you don't want to go look for the old threads, the wallpapers are here:
Journey
Wings
Credit for the flower brushes used goes to Janita at Seishido |

flyingcupcake these are very pretty.
your style seems to favor some of the duller shades and having lots of similar pictures of ai in the banners. but i think this is good...bright colors make me aaaauuugggghhhhh... |

Haha, sorry you feel that way Mansley. I'll consider toning down my avatar for you.
Sweet! Those are nice avatars and signatures (I actually rarely change my avatar when I join anything, don't really know why but that's the way I am) That wallpaper took me by surprise. I always find a nice wallpaper then am like "Wow, that's awesome. To bad it's not widescreen. I wonder if I can edit it to fit" but this time it was more like "Wow, that' awesome. TO bad it's not... ...sweet! It's widescreen!" Thanks a bunch. It's being added to my wallpaper scroller right now. |

Thanks everyone! I've got another snow day today, so I'm hoping to get some more stuff up soon
@Mansley- You're right- I guess I sort of do tend to favor softer colors. I hadn't really noticed that Occasionally I'll decide to make something really bright, but I find that I get tired of those pieces a lot more quickly. I guess I like using many of the same AI pictures, just so it's consistent- sometimes it's kinda hard to make all the photograph styles match...
@Jester- Yeah, there really aren't enough widescreen wallpapers out there. I used to make only regular-sized ones, but now I've switched. I've got a widescreen myself and I was really tired of having things stretched, or having that ugly blank space around them...I suppose I should be making some of both sizes, though.
@carlito and short+simple- Thanks for the lovely comments and thanks in advance for crediting if you use the sets
@yuko- You're welcome to use any of the wallpapers without telling me, but thanks for letting me know! (and more importantly, thanks for following the directions ) I like it when people tell me, so that I know the time I'm putting into these is actually worth it |

@flyingcupcake: Ahaha, don't worry about the slow 100 posts. Well, ok, I've reached 100 probably quicker than anyone else here, who knows? You don't have to have a lot of posts to be known y'know. Well we all love you for your work don't we?
@bahamut88: I tried doing one and it looks so rough! That's why we have talented workers like flyingcupcake right here! |

aww, thanks, carlito It's good to know some people know who I am, even if I don't say much Of course, whether I'm known or not, I still love being here. It's nice to have people to share my art with
@bahamut88- You should keep trying to make some graphics! Don't give up just cause the first one didn't turn out! It takes quite a lot of practice to get decent at making stuff (you should see some of my early art...it's painful to look at).
If you're really interested in getting better, having a good program for making graphics would help a lot. It's pretty hard to do anything with just Paint Once you have a decent graphics program, it's a good idea to look for tutorials- that's how I learned, because I didn't have the attention span to read the manual As I made things following the tutorials, I began learning techniques to use on my own graphics. |
