GAH she is the best~
I'm definitely getting this, despite it not including many things. I just like the idea of having a BEST collection. x3 I'm sure that later singles are left out so that the next studio album wouldn't be pointless.
I really like the DVD. I don't really purchase singles since I find it unnecessary and troublesome to own DVDs that only has like 1 video on it.  It's weird watching them since you'd be changing discs all the time, or lending them to a friend you can only lend a few at a time. The best DVD has everything which is just what I want. <3
I'm kind of disappointed that there isn't more to the first press bonus. |

happy to hear that she is releasing a best album! just kinda weird that teh tracks stopped at planetarium....why wouldn't they put her 3 latest singles in it too? I hope that would change later on~  |

I think avex plans on release an album (which includes the left-out singles) after the best album......  |

Wow! I can't believe so many people are disappointed with this release info. I'm beyond excited. I can't afford to buy all of her albums and singles, or collect her PV's so this is a great idea for me to purchase!
The reason she isn't putting her latest singles on this collection, is because they're not on any album yet. I'm fine with this. They'll be on her next best collection and her next studio album. No problems there.
I think in some way best of albums can be cathartic for an artist. It allows them to put their past styles and releases behind them and reinvent themselves. To start a new chapter in their career. It's exciting!
Sure, I'm disappointed that there isn't anything NEW on the album, but I think it's worth it. |

| "愛 am BEST"! What an adorable title. I don't think it's too early for a BEST album, actually; it's been about three years since Ai's debut. Remember that Ayumi Hamasaki launched the original "A BEST" in 2001, only 3 years after her debut in 1998. "A BEST" went on to sell 4 million+ copies, so let's hope Ai's is successful too! |

Now that I think of it, I wonder why wasn't a best album released earlier? It'd make more sense to have Ai am BEST!!, then a few more singles, and then a new studio album, instead of having a BEST album while holding a full roster of singles for a studio album. A purpose to this, or just bad planning? 
That said, while this isn't exactly a good release for hardcore Ai fans who already have her discography and bought the singles with DVDs, it's a good chance to appeal to casual fans who liked some songs but didn't buy all the singles or PV DVDs... and possibly entice them to buy Ai's next studio album, I guess. Avex's good marketing idea?  |

hmm, ok, why can't there be a dvd only version?! 
i don't know if i'm gonna buy it...it's a little pricey...i already have some of the pv's on my computer anyway. and i have the songs because i have her albums.
so i probably won't buy this. i'm gonna wait for her next album 
the idea of a BEST album is kinda... meh to me. they can't call it 'best' if she hasn't come out with everything, right? how do they know it's best? what if, like, next year or five years from now even, she comes out with a single that's a bigger hit than 'planetarium' and 'sakuranbo'? then this 'best' is just living a lie!

I think Ai should have waited a little longer to release a Best album. It's too early for me However, since I'm a fan, I'll buy it, but only for 7 PVs I don't have on DVD.
But the title is great! xD I first saw it on a torrent on Jpopsuki and came here immediately to check if it was true, while I was on a fangirl mood. I think my mod got mad because of all my screaming  |

Yeh..i was pretty surprised with th latest 4 releases not being on this album. And most of the songs have been official releases anyway =S Maybe i'll rethink buying this..unless i know i'm going to get the first press release.. |

I was really hoping for Frienger or Yumekui to make the cut, but looks it's poof! Gone! Just hope there's a second Best of or something! I want Frienger and Yumekui now!!  |

| The best thing about this album from my perspective is that it makes Ai-chin easier to collect for me. I know a lot of people all ready have her CD + DVD sets but I really don't have anything. Now, instead of having to by the CD + DVD of each single I can simply pick up this best album and the CD version of the singles. The only real downside is that I don't get the pretty alternate covers, but I can handle that. Now, we'll see how much my wallet can handle... |
