how do you do that?
how do i know what my sound card i had? yes i ve tried clicking system-> device manager -> audio blah blah BUT THERE IS NO YELLOW "?" WITH A "!" IN A TRIANGLE!!!!!
This is how i deleted it (by mistake):
My brother, was complaining about how he didnt know how to remove this old rpg game, so i went to "install and remove programs" and deleted the thing, but you know how sometimes the computer gets really slow right? well i thought i just didnt click the program name properly, so i clicked it again, and just then the sound card program moved up in the list and got deleted.
AND NOW LIFE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
here are my main questions:
~if i do put in the resoration discs, is it difficult to use them or does a window pop up saying something like "do you wish to restore youre computer?" and you click yes, it takes a few minutes, you restart your computer and "poof!" everything is like it was in the beginning OR, is it like this:
i enter some weird black place with white letters.
~what about my internet connection? if i do have to reinstall it? i do have the shaw high speed internet disc, but i dont know if it will be easy to use, and if i will be able to install it. |

so what you're saying is whether you should reformat your comp?..no..always use that as a last resort..however depending on the driver..it might be a bit difficult, so we'll see how much we can do
To restore your comp to an earlier date..*assuming you are using XP*
start -> all programs ->accessories -> system tools -> system restore
Hopefully that you've created a restore point at an earlier time..if you have..just select a date after reading through the notes for that date and go ahead and restore. You can always un-restore if it doesn't work.
But restoring it will take your computer back to how it was..with the programs and all of the date you selected, including programs. From experience..the only thing which it doesn't restore is virus'..so..you can't get rid of a virus by system restore.
i hope that it's easy enough to follow..if not..let me know and we'll experiment with other options =) |

| lol now to be safe, back up your system with Ghost 8.0 onto an image. the restoration process is more thorough and the risk of having a previous error or virus is lower. |

| Sometimes, but if it's one of these modern day viruses which are invulnerable against that, you should reformat. |
